An example computing device includes a housing including a battery compartment to receive a removable battery, a cover engageable with the housing to close the battery compartment, and a device connector positioned inside the housing at a fixed position relative to the housing. The device connector is to make an electrical connection with a complementary battery connector of the removable battery when the removeable battery is disposed within the battery compartment. The cover includes an engageable element to engage a complementary engageable element of the battery connector to move the battery connector to break the electrical connection with the device connector when the cover is moved to disengage from the housing.

In some examples, a device comprises a circuit board including a sliding channel and a locking aperture and a locking device comprising a shelf, a stay disposed on a first surface of the shelf, an extension member connected to a second surface of the shelf, the second surface being opposite the first surface, and a wing extending from the extension member, the wing including a locking tab, where the extension member is to interface with the sliding channel of the circuit board and the locking tab is to interface with the locking aperture of the circuit board such that the stay is to secure a computing module to the circuit board.

Example connection ports for electronic devices are disclosed. In an example, the connection port includes a longitudinal axis, a receptacle that extends axially with respect to the longitudinal axis, and a substrate disposed within the receptacle. The substrate includes an end and a support surface that extends axially with respect to the longitudinal axis. In addition, the connection port includes a plurality of first electrical contacts on the support surface, a plurality of second electrical contacts on the end. Each second electrical contact is electrically coupled to a corresponding one of the first electrical contacts.

In some examples, a tool-less electronic component retention apparatus includes a bracket to affix to a circuit board, and a spring-loaded arm attached to the bracket. The spring-loaded arm has an engagement tab that is angled downwardly to engage an upper surface of an electronic component to mount the electronic component to the circuit board. The spring-loaded arm is pivotable between an engaged position and a release position by a user without use of a tool.

In an example, a biometric sensor, includes a first communication interface to receive information associated with an enumeration of the biometric sensor from a host, a second communication interface, and input sensing circuitry to detect an input signal at the biometric sensor. The biometric sensor further includes a controller to, in response to detecting the input signal, transmit a message to wake up the host via the second communication interface, and in response to receiving an indication that a lid of the host has closed, control operation of the biometric sensor by placing the biometric sensor in a low power state.

Examples disclosed herein provide an image capture device. As an example, the image capture device includes an image sensor, a shutter, and a touch-enabled layer disposed above the image sensor. A controller of the image capture device is to register a user touch interaction with the touch-enabled layer and, based on a gesture detected from the user touch interaction, cycle between engaging the shutter to cover the image sensor and disengaging the shutter to expose the image sensor.

In some examples, a mobile computing device may include a first housing coupled to a second housing, wherein the first housing and the second housing are articulable to a plurality of configurations. The mobile computing device may include a memory resource comprising executable instructions to adjust an audio profile of each of the plurality of speakers based on the detected orientation of each of the plurality of speakers.

Examples disclosed herein provide a computing device. One example computing device includes a first member including a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, and a second member including a third surface and a fourth surface opposite the third surface, wherein the second member is rotatably connected to the first member. The computing device includes a kickstand rotatably connected to the fourth surface of the second member at a first end of the kickstand. The computing device includes magnetic members to magnetically couple the second surface of the first member with a second end of the kickstand opposite the first end of the kickstand. As an example, when the computing device is to change from a first operation mode to a second operation mode, the kickstand is to move along the second surface of the first member via the magnetic coupling.

Example implementations relate to ferromagnetic covers. For instance, in an example housing can include a bezel including first opening extending through a recess included in the bezel, a first magnet and a second magnet in an internal volume of the housing, and a ferromagnetic cover disposed in the recess and magnetically coupled to the first magnet and the second magnet, where the ferromagnetic cover includes a second opening to obscure a viewing portion of the first opening with the continuous portion when the ferromagnetic cover is positioned adjacent to a first side surface of the recess.

Example implementations relate the selective defocus of cameras. For instance, in an example an electronic device including a camera including a lens having a field of view and a focal distance, a defocus switch, and an actuator to adjust the focal distance of the lens to selectively defocus a portion of the field of view of the lens in response to actuation of the defocus switch.

Examples disclosed herein provide a computing device. One example computing device includes a display member and a base member rotatably connected to each other via a hinge. The computing device includes a retractable foot to extend from a bottom surface of the base member when the display member is to be rotated open from a closed position to a first operating position.

Examples disclosed herein provide a digital pen for a computing device. As an example, the digital pen includes a barrel and a clip coupled to the barrel via a spring, wherein the clip is movable within the barrel in a direction opposite a force provided by the spring. The digital pen includes a first set of magnetic members to magnetically couple with a second set of magnetic members of the computing device, when the first and second sets of magnetic members are brought within proximity of each other. The digital pen includes a lever arm disposed within the barrel and comprising a wedge along an end of the lever arm. As an example, the wedge is to frictionally engage a retractable part of the computing device and an interior panel of the barrel, when the first and second sets of magnetic members are to magnetically couple with each other.

Examples disclosed herein provide a digital pen for a computing device. As an example, the digital pen includes a barrel, a camera mounted along a length of the barrel, and a first set of magnetic members to magnetically couple to a second set of magnetic members of a computing device. Upon the first and second sets of magnetic members magnetically coupling with each other, the camera is to activate for use with the computing device for videoconferencing.
