A mobile confectionary apparatus for dispensing beverages and/or frozen confections includes a vehicle configured for travel over public roads to a location such as a parking lot, street, festival or fair grounds, or the like. The vehicle includes an enclosure having an interior space in which one or more persons can prepare and dispense confections, or containers for confections or beverages. The enclosure includes one or more service windows or openings for dispensing the prepared confections or containers; and a self-serve liquid dispensing system on or in an outer surface of the enclosure, usable by recipients of the dispensed confections or containers, for selectably dispensing toppings on the confections, or liquids into the containers, separately from the dispensing and selling thereof. The dispensing system is closable or coverable by a person from within the interior space, to prevent access from the outside, and for cleaning, service and travel.

Data in the form of discrete learnable objects, is automatically retrieved at time intervals and fed to a user by an electronic time data device based on options such as subject, alert and time interval of 60 minutes or less. Preceding or with the feeding of a data object, an alert is outputted, which is ceased by an input. Inputs such as answers to questions to test comprehension, can also be required. The system can evaluate the responses, and adaptively introduce a new subject when comprehension is demonstrated, and repeat data objects for which comprehension is not demonstrated. The interval, subject matter fed and other parameters can be controlled by the device, or remotely by a second device or administrator, and information representative of comprehension, marketing, and the like can be recorded and collected.

A weather resistant portable pet shelter, including a rigid shell enclosing an interior space, the rigid shell including a lower base portion below the interior space having at least one external, downwardly facing element having a predetermined shape, a side wall portion extending at least substantially around the interior space and including a door opening connecting therewith, and an upper roof portion above the space and including a peripheral portion therearound having an external dish shaped structure defining an upwardly open concave region adapted for receiving and supporting a pet or a pet bed on the roof portion, the external dish shaped structure being configured for mating with and supporting the at least one downwardly facing element of the base portion such that a second pet shelter including the at least one downwardly facing element can be supported by the shell above the roof portion. The pet shelter can be configured for use as a pet entertainer, and also a carrier.

The mobile vending apparatus can be transported to a desired venue such as a festival grounds, sports park, or the like, and is quickly and easily rendered operational for use by persons standing at ground level. The apparatus can include individual automatic vending units having lowered controls so as to be reachable from ground level, or the apparatus can include devices for lowering conventional vending machines to the ground or another surface.

A tray assembly for an infant highchair, the tray assembly including a frame having front, rear, and side peripheral edge portions defining a space therebetween having a predetermined shape and size; a tray insert having front, rear, and side peripheral lip portions supporting and connected to a bottom portion located in an area defined thereby, the tray insert having a predetermined shape and extent such that the peripheral lip portions can rest on the peripheral edge portions of the frame for supporting the bottom of the tray insert in at least substantially covering relation to the space defined by the frame. A handle is connected to the front peripheral lip of the tray insert having a generally C shape profile when viewed from the side, and being positioned so as to releasably wrap or clamp securely around a sufficient portion of the front peripheral edge portion of the frame for holding the front lip portion of the tray insert thereon when the side and rear lip portions of the tray insert are resting on the side and rear edge portions of the frame, respectively; the tray insert being simply and easily removably from the frame by grasping the handle with one hand and pulling the handle forwardly to release the handle from the front peripheral edge portion of the frame and replaceable in a similar manner.
