A sump for a toilet includes a first end of the sump, defined by a first boundary, and a second end of the sump, defined by a second boundary. The sump includes a channel running from the first end of the sump to the second end of the sump defined by a sump surface. The first end of the sump is configured to receive liquid and the second end of the sump is configured to supply liquid. The sump has a sump can-cut diameter corresponding to a diameter of the channel at the first end of the sump, a sump side radius extending from a center of the channel to an inner surface of the channel, and a sump depth corresponding to a largest vertical distance within the channel. The sump may be drain cast using a single continuous pathway.

Toilet with canned sump

A toilet having a one piece structure, a flush valve, and a seal. The structure includes a base having a fluid channel in fluid communication with a bowl; a tank having an internal compartment; a wall disposed between the tank and the base, the wall having an opening fluidly connecting the internal compartment and the fluid channel; and a retaining structure in the internal compartment. The flush valve has a valve body including an inner wall, which is disposed in the opening and extends from a first end in fluid communication with the internal compartment to a second end in fluid communication with the fluid channel, and a locking flange extending radially outward from the inner wall, the locking flange being retained between the retaining structure and the wall in a locking position. The seal is disposed between the locking flange and one of the wall or the retaining structure.

One-piece toilet with flush valve

A toilet includes an inlet structure, a bowl structure, and an outlet structure. The inlet structure is configured to receive water. The bowl structure has a toilet bowl including a rim and a sump, a split fluidly connected to the inlet structure and including a first passage and a second passage, a shelf located below the rim of the toilet bowl and fluidly connected to the first passage, a side channel fluidly connected to the second passage, and a diverter that redirects the water from the side channel to the sump of the toilet bowl. The outlet structure is fluidly connected to the sump and is configured to discharge water from the sump into a drain.

Flush toilet

A toilet assembly includes a toilet body and a nozzle system. The toilet body defines a toilet bowl and a rim area disposed along an upper edge of the toilet bowl. The rim area includes a flange defining an opening. The nozzle system includes a nozzle having a first end configured to be fluidly coupled to a water supply conduit and a second end fluidly coupled to the rim area. The second end defines an outlet formed at a compound angle. The connector assembly detachably couples the nozzle to the flange such that the nozzle extends through the opening.

Rim jet nozzle system for toilets

A toilet includes a tank, a pedestal, and a mounting assembly. The tank includes a bottom wall. The bottom wall includes an opening and a bottom surface. The pedestal includes an opening and a top surface. The opening of the pedestal is aligned with the opening of the bottom wall. The mounting assembly includes a mounting plate, a nut, and a gasket. The mounting plate is configured to be coupled to the pedestal and includes an opening aligned with the opening of the pedestal. The nut holds the mounting plate against the bottom surface of the bottom wall and includes a rounded portion. The gasket is disposed about the opening of the pedestal and along the top surface of the pedestal and includes a concave surface that is configured for receiving the rounded portion of the nut.

Systems and methods for coupling a tank of a toilet to a pedestal of the toilet

A flush actuator assembly for a plumbing fixture includes a housing, a handle and a lever. The housing is configured to be removably coupled to the plumbing fixture. The handle is pivotally and removably coupled to the housing. The handle includes a stem configured to extend through the plumbing fixture and into the housing. The arm is removably coupled to the stem within the housing. The arm is configured to pivot with the handle. The lever is at least partially disposed in the housing, and is configured to be selectively disengaged from the stem to removably couple the handle to the housing.

Flush actuator assembly

A toilet assembly includes a pedestal, a tank disposed on the pedestal, and an inlet chamber formed in the pedestal. The inlet chamber includes an inlet portion comprising an upstream end defining an upstream inner diameter, and a downstream end defining a downstream inner diameter less than the upstream inner diameter. The inlet chamber further includes an elbow extending downstream from the inlet portion, the elbow defining an elbow diameter substantially the same as the downstream inner diameter. The inlet portion is configured to receive water from the tank. The toilet assembly further includes a flush valve disposed in the tank, the valve defining a valve outlet disposed below the tank and in the inlet portion of the inlet chamber.

Toilet inlet configuration

A bolt and cap assembly for mounting a plumbing fixture includes a flanged nut, a bolt, a washer, and a cap. The flanged nut includes a flange and a sleeve extending therefrom. The bolt includes a substantially planar head and a shaft extending therefrom. The shaft is configured to threadably engage the flanged nut to couple the plumbing fixture to a mounting flange. The washer is configured to be positioned between the bolt and the flanged nut. The cap is configured to be removably coupled to the washer and to encase the substantially planar head of the bolt between the washer and the cap so as to conceal the substantially planar head from view and to prevent fluid from entering an area between the cap and the washer.

An actuation mechanism for a dual flush toilet that includes a rotatable pivot pin including a body and an extension extending outwardly from the body; a first lever configured to contact the extension after a predetermined rotation of the first lever, such that continued rotation of the first lever rotates the pivot pin a first rotation to actuate the first flush mode; and a second lever configured to contact the extension after a predetermined rotation of the second lever, such that continued rotation of the second lever rotates the pivot pin a second rotation to actuate the second flush mode; wherein the first rotation is different than the second rotation.

Multi-flush mode toilet

An actuation mechanism comprising a first handle, a second handle, a housing, a link arm member provided within the housing and pivotally coupled to the handles, and a moveable stop member provided within the housing. The first handle may be mounted to a first side of a toilet tank, and the second handle may be mounted coaxially relative to the first handle on the first side. The housing may be mounted to a second side of the tank. A rotation of one of the first and second handles results in rotation of the link arm member being limited by the moveable stop member such that the link arm member is permitted to rotate a first amount. Rotation of both the first and second handles results in movement of the moveable stop member such that the link arm member is permitted to rotate a second amount greater than the first amount.
