A 3D laser leveler is provided for accurately locating distant parallel or extension lines. The 3D laser leveler has a base block and a rotator. The base block provides a base plane for resting upon a flat surface when in use, a first leveling unit for examining the leveling status of the base plane, and a pivot mechanism. The rotator is rotatably connected to the base block and rotatable around the pivot mechanism, and includes a housing for providing an internal accommodating space, a battery set and a laser unit received inside the accommodating space. The laser unit uses power provided by the battery set for generating a spanning plane laser beam that can be utilized to locate a spatial extension or a perpendicular line. In addition, a joining bracket can be included separately to connect the 3D laser leveler and a conventional beam leveler.

3D laser leveler

Laser systems are provided that include a turntable having a plurality of circumferential mirrors that are rotatably controlled by one motor. One or more laser modules are oriented to direct laser beams at the mirrors, as the mirrors are rotated. Each beam that is reflected by a mirror forms a dot of the desired image. The vertical level of the formed dots is controlled either by providing the mirrors at different angles, or by providing a plurality of laser modules at differently angled orientations or at different vertical positions. The positioning of dots along a horizontal line is controlled by synchronizing the rate of rotation of the turntable with the on-off times of the laser module(s).

Laser dot matrix display systems

A method of manufacturing a laser module is provided, which includes the steps of providing a one-piece cylindrical housing having a bore, a front window and a rear opening, securing a lens piece in the bore adjacent the front window, introducing a laser diode into the bore through the rear opening, applying a force to the laser diode to insert the laser diode into the bore while simultaneously focusing the lens, and ceasing the application of force when the lens has been accurately focused. The present invention also provides a method of focusing the lens, which includes the steps of passing a laser beam from the laser diode through the lens, splitting the beam that has passed through the lens into separate first and second beams, directing the first beam at a first light receiving device, and directing the second beam at a second light receiving device, with respective dots being created at the first and second light receiving devices, and varying the distance between the lens and the laser diode until the dots received at the first and second light receiving devices have the same size.

Laser modules and methods of manufacturing same

A light-emitting semiconductor device is adapted to be electrically connected to a substrate. The semiconductor device includes a first conductor having a first and a second surface, a second conductor having a first and a second surface, and an isolation material separating the first and second conductors. A light emitting element is disposed on the first conductor. The semiconductor device further includes a first semiconductor surface having the first surfaces of the first and second conductors separated by the isolation material, and a second semiconductor surface having the second surfaces of the first and second conductors separated by the isolation material. Both the first semiconductor surface and the second semiconductor surface may be electrically connected to the substrate. The light emitting element emits a first light beam when the first semiconductor surface is connected to the substrate and the light emitting element emits a second light beam when the second semiconductor surface is connected to the substrate, with the first and second light beams having different directions and/or orientations.
