An electronic apparatus is provided at one side with an adapting plate, on at least one side surface of which there is provided connecting lines, and a memory-card plug adapter is detachably connected to the apparatus through engagement of a socket provided at a front end of the adapter with the adapting plate on the apparatus. Elastic contact terminals are provided in the socket to electrically connect to the connecting lines on the adapting plate. The apparatus is adapted to plug in any type of memory-card socket provided on a computer through detachable engagement of the adapting plate on the apparatus with one memory-card plug adapter that corresponds to the memory-card socket on the computer.

A storage device includes a housing case, a terminal connector, a circuit substrate and a base. The terminal connector, the circuit substrate, and the base are inserted, in this order, inside the housing case. The terminal connector has at least a contact terminal for circuit connection on the circuit substrate for data transmission when the terminal connector is connected to the circuit substrate. The base is engaged to the circuit substrate at the end, and tightly engaged inside the housing case. The base is not only used to steadily engage the terminal connector and the circuit substrate inside the housing case, but also to elevate the circuit substrate so that the circuit is not directly in contact with the housing case to cause short-circuit.

Portable storage device

A connector for electrically connecting a terminal board includes a base having a plurality of contact terminals extending through a rear frame of the base which is received in a case so that the terminal board can be inserted through an elongated hole in the case to contact with the contact terminals. Two release plates extend through two slots defined in two side frames of the base and each has a hook so as to hook respective ones of two recesses of the terminal board. A spring is connected between the two release plates so that when the two release plates are pushed toward each other, the two hooks are disengaged from the recesses of the terminal board and the connector is easily removed from the terminal board.

Quick release connector for connecting terminal board

A storage memory device includes a primary body comprised of a first memory card at one side and a connection portion at the other side. Contacts are provided in the connection portion and in electrical connection with the first memory card to serve as a data transmission interface for the first memory card. The storage memory device further includes a secondary body forming a first slot for receiving the connection portion therein. The secondary body may include a second memory card electrically connectable to the first memory card via the contacts of the connection portion. Alternatively, the second memory card of the secondary body is omitted and replaced by a second slot into which another primary body comprised of a connection portion having contacts and a memory card is received. Thus, electrical connection and data exchange between the two memory cards, either between the first and second memory cards or between the two first memory cards, can be done easily with the contacts of the connection portions.

Storage memory device

A fool-proof mechanism for memory card is presented, in which an asymmetrically configured insertion end of a memory card is provided to ensure that no incorrect insertion of the memory card will be done; and a length or height gradient of circuit's contact produced according to an asymmetric arcuate or curved alignment of a plurality of circuit's contacts will create a contact time difference between contacts of different circuit's contacts with corresponding contact terminals for application in design of specific circuits.
