This disclosure relates to a proportional valve arrangement for refrigerants, with a valve housing comprising a valve body chamber, a valve body which is arranged inside the valve body chamber and which is configured to be transferable between a first sealing seat and a second sealing seat. An electrically actuable drive is connected to the valve body via a spindle. A locking device is arranged between the spindle and the valve body and is configured to generate an axial preload between the valve body and the first sealing seat when the valve body abuts against the first sealing seat and for generating an axial preload between the valve body and the second sealing seat when the valve body abuts against the second sealing seat.

Proportional valve assembly for refrigerant

The invention relates to an electromagnetic proportional valve, preferably for refrigerant, which has the following: an armature of an electromagnet which is arranged so as to be able to be moved axially between an idle position, an activation position and working positions and on which an activation element is arranged; a piston which is constructed as a hollow piston and which has at a first axial end region a first opening toward a supply of the expansion valve and at a second axial end region a second opening toward a pressure compensation space; and a blocking member which is constructed to close the second opening, wherein the piston is arranged so as to be able to be axially displaced and wherein the piston is constructed to block a fluid passage as a blocking element of a main valve device, wherein the fluid passage of the main valve device is blocked in the idle position of the armature, wherein the activation element is constructed to act in the activation position of the armature on the blocking member in such a manner that it releases the second opening at least in regions, and wherein the fluid passage of the main valve device is open in the working positions of the armature. The invention further relates to a system having such a proportional valve.

Electromagnetic proportional valve and system having a proportional valve

The invention relates to a system for monitoring the position of the valve needle of an expansion valve, having an expansion valve having a valve seat; a valve needle which is configured so as to be convertible axially between a first position in which the valve needle is received by the valve seat and closes the expansion valve, and a second position in which the valve needle is axially spaced apart from the valve seat and the expansion valve is at least partially opened; wherein the expansion valve has a magnet which is fixedly assigned to the valve needle such that the magnet is axially movable conjointly with the valve needle; and has a Hall sensor, wherein the Hall sensor is fixedly assigned to the valve seat and, by means of the flux density vector of the magnet, is configured for determining directly the absolute axial position of the valve needle. The invention moreover relates to a system for calculating the axial position of a valve needle in an expansion valve according to one of the embodiments described, wherein the system, by means of the Hall sensor, is configured for detecting a first component of the flux density vector of the magnet, by means of the Hall sensor is configured for detecting a second component of the flux density vector of the magnet, and for calculating therefrom the absolute axial position of the valve needle.

An expansion valve operable by a stepper motor, the expansion valve including a housing; a hollow shaft arranged in the housing; a valve base that supports the hollow shaft and closes the housing; a rotor that is drivable by a stator of the stepper motor; a center spool arranged within the hollow shaft and drivable by the rotor so that a rotation of the center spool is transferrable by a threaded connection into an axial movement of the center spool that opens or closes the expansion valve; and a spiral body that includes a thread turn and that is arranged about an enveloping surface of the hollow shaft and that is drivable by the rotor, wherein a stop body is arranged at the hollow shaft and movable in the thread turn of the spiral body.

An expansion valve operable by a stepper motor, the expansion valve including a housing; a hollow shaft arranged in the housing; a valve base that supports the hollow shaft and closes the housing; a rotor drivable by a stator of the stepper motor; a center spool arranged in the hollow shaft and drivable by the rotor so that a rotation of the center spool is transferrable by a threaded connection into an axial movement of the center spool that opens or closes the expansion valve; and a sleeve that includes a receiving portion that includes at least portions of the center spool, of a compression spring and of a force transmission element respectively and a valve needle, wherein the receiving portion of the sleeve element is closed by a bushing.
