A brake actuator for a braking system of a rail vehicle is configured to detect an anti-skid corrected braking target value from a brake control, or has an anti-skid correction device configured to correct the braking target value detected by the brake control by a reduction signal of an anti-skid control device to the anti-skid corrected braking target value. To improve the controllability of the brake actuator, an anti-skid monitoring device is provided, to which the anti-skid corrected braking target value and the brake target value are applied, and is configured to switch from a first position to a second position under at least one predefined first switching condition, and to switch from the second position back to the first position under a second switching condition. In the first position, the anti-skid corrected braking target value is provided.

Brake actuator for a braking system of a vehicle, and method for braking a vehicle

A brake unit for a vehicle has a brake cylinder, a brake piston guided axially in the brake cylinder and a device for adjusting a clearance. The device has two first stops, which strike against each other when the brake unit is opened, and two second stops, which strike against each other when the brake unit is closed. One of the first stops is formed on a blocking element functionally connected to the brake piston. One of the second stops is formed on the blocking element. A blocking member is in engagement with the blocking element under the force of a pre-stressing spring such that the blocking element is blocked by the blocking member when the first stops strike and can continue to latch in relation to the blocking member under the force of the brake piston when the second stops strike.

Brake unit for a vehicle and vehicle having such a brake unit

A brake unit for a vehicle, in particular a rail vehicle, has a brake cylinder, a brake piston and a device for adjusting a clearance. The latter has two first stops that strike against each other when the brake unit is opened. One of the first stops is formed on a blocking element that is functionally connected to the brake piston. In order to be able to open the brake unit beyond the clearance, a blocking member is in engagement with the blocking element under the force of a pre-stressing spring. The blocking element is blocked by the blocking member when the first stops strike. Actuators displace the blocking member that is in engagement with the blocking element counter to a force of the pre-stressing spring into a position detached from the blocking element.

An actuator for a brake system of a rail vehicle has a set-value detection unit that outputs a set value or a set value corrected by a reducing signal of an anti-skid control device for a decelerating force or a decelerating torque to a set-value control device. The latter controls the set value to a first output set value. A switch-over device connects an output of the set-value control device to a input of a set-value/force conversion device in a first switching position. In a second switching position, the set-value/force conversion device receives the signal from a fall-back unit. Braking devices convert an actual value of the force into an actual value of the decelerating force or decelerating torque. When impermissible deviations from a fast braking set value in a fast-braking operation are found, the switch-over device switches from the first to the second switching position.

A braking device for braking a moving mass includes a movably guided coupling member for pressing a brake lining against a braking surface, a brake cylinder, filled with a hydraulic liquid, a brake piston which is movable inside the brake cylinder and which is connected to the coupling member. At least one hydraulic line can be connected to the brake cylinder. The device ensures the moving masses to be reliably decelerated. For that purpose, a fluidic-mechanical safety brake device is used to connect the brake cylinder to the one or more hydraulic lines.

A device for decelerating or braking a moving mass includes a movably guided coupling member for pressing a brake lining against a braking surface and a brake actuator, filled with hydraulic liquid and connected to the coupling member, for generating a pressure force that can be passed into the brake lining through the coupling member. The brake lining is connected to a pressure transducer that can be fastened on a frame of the mass to be decelerated or braked through a connecting device. The pressure transducer has a hydraulic liquid-filled supporting cylinder and a supporting piston interacting therewith. The supporting cylinder communicates with a brake cylinder through hydraulic lines. This allows an improved adjustment of deceleration or braking. For this purpose, a regulating device adjusts the brake force depending on a predetermined theoretical value.
