A Shielding shell for a connector is disclosed which includes a first wall, a second wall and a third wall. The first wall, the second wall and the third wall are arranged mutually at an angle to each other. At least the first wall and the second wall are connected to each other by a first folded edge. The shielding shell further includes a first contact portion connected with the second wall by a second folded edge, the first contact portion being arranged substantially parallel to the third wall and including a plurality of contact segments contacting said third wall.

Cable connector including a connector housing and a cable clamp for clamping a cable to the housing. The cable clamp having an intermediate portion between a first and a second mounting portion. At least one of the two mounting portions of the cable clamp is provided with locking means selectively cooperative with at least two matching locking means, such as slots, of the connector housing to hold the cable clamp in respective different positions corresponding to different cable diameters.

Terminal block for a cable connector including insulation displacement contact slots at both sides wherein at least a part of the insulation displacement contact slots at one side of the terminal block are paired either by a corresponding insulation displacement contact slot or by a punch support at the opposite side of the terminal block. The invention concerns a Cable clamp for a cable connector, the cable clamp being arranged for receiving and capturing a portion of at least one cable extending along an extension direction from the connector. The cable clamp includes a first section and a plurality of second sections which are movably attached or attachable to the first section; the first section includes at least one through-hole extending in the direction of extension, which through-hole is configured for receiving a first portion of at least one cable penetrating through the hole and at least a portion of the second sections is arranged for capturing between them a second portion of the at least one cable penetrating through the hole and extending therefrom.
