Provided is an exhaust apparatus provided in a construction machine with an engine and an engine room, the exhaust apparatus capable of suppressing vibration of an exhaust gas pipe and securing required strength thereof. The exhaust apparatus includes a duct provided in the engine room, a fan to suck air into the engine room and discharge through the duct the air to an outside as exhaust wind, and an exhaust gas pipe guiding exhaust gas of the engine into the duct. The exhaust gas pipe includes a duct inner portion inside the duct and a duct outer portion connected to the duct inner portion outside the duct. The duct inner portion has a plurality of discharge holes to allow the exhaust gas to be injected into the duct therethrough and discharged to the outside together with the exhaust wind. The duct inner portion is connected to the duct.

Exhaust apparatus of construction machine

Provided is a construction machine including an electrical component and efficiently cooling it. The construction machine includes an upper slewing body having an air intake chamber capable of taking in air, an engine, the electrical component, an air intake duct guiding the air inside the air intake chamber toward the engine, a blow fan directing the air inside the air intake chamber toward the engine through the air intake duct, and electrical-component cover covering the electrical component. The electrical-component cover defines an air flow path for flowing air along the electrical component, between the electrical-component cover and the electrical component thereinside. The electrical-component cover includes an air inlet communicating an upstream portion of the air flow path with the air intake chamber and an air outlet communicating a downstream portion of the air intake chamber with the air intake duct.

Construction machine having electrical component

A construction machine includes an exhaust duct for discharging a lower airflow to the exterior of an engine room. An air inlet for introducing air into the exhaust duct is provided in an upper portion of the exhaust duct, and an air outlet for discharging the air from the exhaust duct is provided in a lower portion of the exhaust duct. An air passage is formed in the interior of the exhaust duct between the air inlet and the air outlet. The exhaust duct is disposed on an exhaust side of the engine room such that the air introduced into the air passage in the exhaust duct through the air inlet is discharged below the engine room from the air outlet through a discharge port, and such that a hydraulic pump provided on the exhaust side of the engine room is shielded from the discharge port by the exhaust duct.

Construction machine

A construction machine includes an engine disposed in an engine room, a heat exchanger disposed in the engine room, an air intake passage configured to provide a communication between the interior and the exterior of the engine room, and a cooling fan disposed in the engine room. The cooling fan is configured to draw external air into the engine room through the air intake passage by rotation thereof, and to flow the external air for allowing the external air to pass the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger has an air intake surface formed on a side portion thereof. The air intake surface is a surface configured to receive airflow to be drawn into the heat exchanger. The air intake passage is configured to flow the external air drawn to the air intake passage along a route passing a position over the heat exchanger and reaching the air intake surface.
