A treatment system includes a treatment tool and a generator. The treatment tool includes a first grasper configured to apply treatment energy to a living tissue, and a second grasper. The generator includes a power circuit, a detecting circuit configured to detect an index value indicating a treatment state of a test material, and a processor configured to, based on the index value, measure a treatment completion time. At least one of the treatment tool and the generator further includes a memory configured to store property data which indicates a property of the test material, and based on the measured treatment completion time, the intensity of the treatment energy applied to the test material, and the property data, the processor is configured to calculate a control parameter related to the intensity of the treatment energy when the living tissue is treated, and output the control parameter to the power circuit.

Treatment system and control parameter calculation method

An electrically conductive plate of a treatment instrument includes a treating surface and a back surface facing an opposite side of the treating surface, and an electric component is arranged on the back surface of the electrically conductive plate. The electric component is electrically independent from the electrically conductive plate, and a holder supports the electrically conductive plate from the back surface side. A connector is made of a thermoplastic resin, and arranged on either side of and spaced from the electric component in a width direction intersecting with a longitudinal axis. The connector stationarily fixes each end of the electrically conductive plate in the width direction to the holder.

A treatment instrument includes a rotating body and a housing. The rotating body includes a connecting portion including: a supported portion having a cylindrical outer peripheral surface, and an engaged portion that is adjacent to the supported surface. The housing includes a supporting portion that is configured to support the supported portion of the rotating body, the supporting portion being rotatable around a predetermined rotation axis; and an engaging portion that is configured to generate a frictional force larger than a frictional force between the supporting portion and the supported portion by coming into contact with the engaged portion.

An energy output section outputs first electric energy so that a high-frequency current flows between electrodes through a treated target, and outputs second electric energy so that heat occurs in an end effector. A controller outputs the first electric energy at the same time as the second electric energy in at least a part of a period during which the heat is continuously denaturing the treated target from an output start of the second electric energy. The controller makes, based on judging that the treated target entered a predetermined state, an electric power of the first electric energy increased.

A treatment system includes a pair of holding members, a high-frequency energy output section, a heat generating section and a control section. At least one of the pair of holding members moves to the other holding member. The high-frequency energy output section and the heat generating section are provided on at least one of the holding members. The high-frequency energy output section exerts high-frequency energy to a living tissue to denature the living tissue, and collects the biological information of the living tissue. The heat generating section applies heat to it held between the holding members, generates the heat owing to the supply of the energy, and conducts the heat therefrom to denature the living tissue. The control section controls the output of the energy to the high-frequency energy output section and the heat generating section based on the biological information collected by the high-frequency energy output section.

A grasping surface opposed to a second jaw is provided on an outer surface in a first jaw of the grasping treatment unit, and a heat applying portion applying heat to a treated target is provided in a grasping-surface-side part in the first jaw. The heat applying portion includes a projection portion in which the grasping surface projects toward the second jaw, and the projection portion includes a first thermal conduction portion, and a second thermal conduction portion with a thermal conductivity which is different from that of the first thermal conduction portion. The second thermal conduction portion is continuous with the first thermal conduction portion in a longitudinal direction of the first jaw.
