A dental observation device by which, without displaying, in an overlapping manner, a visible light image of an image-capturing site in an oral cavity captured by a 3-D camera and 3-D image information on the image-capturing site in the oral cavity acquired in advance, an invisible portion in the visible light image is easily recognized. An observation system includes a visible light 3-D camera; a relative position calculator; a 3-D information storage storing 3-D image information acquired in advance; an image display displaying, side by side, a 2-D captured image captured by the visible light 3-D camera and 2-D converted image based on the 3-D image information corresponding to the surgical operation target site; and a display direction adjuster displaying, in the image display, the 2-D converted image in a predetermined direction on the basis of the image-capturing direction detected by the relative position calculator.

An X-ray CT imaging apparatus includes: a supporter that is supported such that an X-ray generator and an X-ray detector are opposed to each other; a turning motor that turns the supporter about a shaft; a crosswise drive motor that moves the shaft in a crosswise direction; and a circuit that performs processing of controlling the turning motor and the crosswise drive motor and processing of setting the physique of a subject. When X-ray CT imaging is performed, the crosswise drive motor moves the shaft in synchronization with turning of the supporter about the shaft, and the supporter is caused to perform combined motion, which allows the X-ray generator and the X-ray detector to turn about a center of an X-ray CT imaging region, and position control of the shaft is performed according to the size of the physique of the subject.

X-ray CT imaging apparatus

An X-ray CT scanner generates CT imaging information on an imaging region, and has a revolution arm positioning an X-ray generator and an X-ray detector to face one another with a subject therebetween, directing the revolution arm to move so X-ray beam radiation is offset from the center of the imaging region. An axial direction changing mechanism changes an imaging target from a first imaging region to a second imaging region in an axial direction of the imaging central axis, and a controller controls offset CT imaging, and an X-ray imaging information generator to generate first and second CT imaging information based on projection data of the first and second imaging region and to generate a stitch imaging information comprising the first and second CT imaging information.

When X-ray CT imaging is performed with a part located close to a front of a head as the imaging region, using the turning mechanism and the distance changing mechanism, the turning controller causes the X-ray generator and the X-ray detector to turn around the head while locating the imaging region therebetween, and causes the X-ray detector to turn along a go-around orbit, in which the X-ray detector comes close to the imaging region with respect to a front side of the head and moves away from the imaging region with respect to a rear side, by changing a distance between the X-ray detector and the center of the imaging region.

By turning an X-ray generator and an X-ray detector around a head of a subject, an imaging region is irradiated with an X-ray beam from a plurality of directions to obtain an X-ray projection image. When a center axis X-ray of the X-ray beam passing through a turning center axis is orthogonal to a tomographic layer of interest, the X-ray detector is caused to approach the tomographic layer of interest while the X-ray generator is moved away from the tomographic layer of interest as compared to when the center axis X-ray is not orthogonal to a tomographic layer of interest.

A panoramic tomography X-ray apparatus including an image information processing part, a display part, and a position setting part. The image information processing part retrieves a frame image information from a storage part and superimposes overlapped portions of images along a tomographic plane corresponding to a dental arch to generate a panoramic tomographic image. The display part displays the panoramic tomographic image generated by the image information processing part. The position setting part sets, in a median portion including a median line of an object, the position of the tomographic plane regarding depth direction of the object.
