A light emitting apparatus is supported by a second support supported by a first support laterally relative to the first support alongside an imaging apparatus, and emits light to be detected by the imaging apparatus. The light emitting apparatus includes a light source that emits the light and a lens on which the light emitted from the light source is incident and that transmits the light incident on the lens. The lens includes a part provided with a dimmer that at least partially reduces light to be emitted to the first support out of the light incident on the lens.

Light emitting apparatus, light source unit, and mobile body

A light source module is provided that includes a primary wiring substrate and a light source array having a plurality of light sources mounted on a surface of the primary wiring substrate in a matrix. The light source module includes a heat radiation pad, provided at a peripheral region of the primary wiring substrate, and one or a plurality of heat transfer paths having a higher heat conductivity than a base substrate that is a parent material of the primary wiring substrate and connecting the plurality of light sources constituting the light source array and the heat radiation pad. At least one of the plurality of light sources, which are arranged at a row-directional central portion of the light source array, is connected with the heat radiation pad by the heat transfer path including a first linear portion.

A light source module is provided. According to an exemplary embodiment, the light source module includes a base material. A plurality of light sources is on a surface of the substrate in a matrix. The plurality of light sources is individually controlled to be lit. A first electric supply wire supplies electricity to each of the plurality of light sources. A plurality of second electric supply wires supplies electricity to the plurality of light sources respectively. A plurality of protection diodes is electrically connected with the first electric supply wire and the plurality of second electric supply wires. The plurality of protection diodes is in the substrate.

A light source module includes: a substrate; and multiple light sources mounted on a first surface of the substrate in a thickness direction of the substrate in a matrix. The light sources include a set of light sources arranged in a row direction and a set of light sources arranged in a column direction. Each of the light sources includes a first electric supply pad and a second electric supply pad. A first electric supply wire extends along the column direction and supplies electricity to each of the first electric supply pads. Second electric supply wires extend in the column direction and supply electricity to each of the second electric supply pads. A primary lens is placed at a light emission side of a plurality of light sources, and the primary lens includes a plurality of light guides corresponding in a one-to-one relationship to the plurality of light sources. A size of a light exit surface of a light guide corresponding to a light source which illuminates a central region in the illuminable region of the headlight is set to differ from a size of a light exit surface of a light guide corresponding to a light source which illuminates a peripheral region surrounding the central region.

In a lighting device provided with a light source module including a plurality of light sources, insufficiency of luminous intensity, illuminance unevenness, and the like due to a low-light light source are compensated for. The lighting device includes the light source module which is composed of the plurality of light sources in a matrix and mounted on a board. A drive circuit individually supplies power to the light sources. A processor controls a lighting status of each of the light sources via the drive circuit. The processor determines a low-light light source that is lower in luminous intensity than at least one light source among the plurality of light sources, and causes at least one light source adjacent to the low-light light source to emit light with a higher luminous intensity than the at least one other light source.

A lighting apparatus includes a low beam lens, a low beam light-emitting device disposed behind the low beam lens, a plurality of high beam lenses disposed along a periphery of the low beam lens, and a plurality of high beam light-emitting devices disposed behind the plurality of high beam lenses in one-to-one correspondence. At least one of the plurality of high beam lenses includes, on a circumferential edge, a textured surface having light diffusing characteristics.

A lighting apparatus for vehicle use that projects light forward includes a base, a low beam lamp including a low beam light emitter disposed on the base, a first light emitter disposed on the base and a second light emitter. An illumination apparatus includes an LED, a first lens unit provided above the LED and a cylindrical lens provided above the first lens unit. The first lens unit receives light from the LED and emits the light toward the cylindrical lens. The cylindrical lens emits the light to the outside.

A lighting apparatus for vehicle use that projects light forward includes: a base, a low beam lamp including a low beam light emitting device disposed on the base; a first high beam lamp including a first high beam light emitting device disposed on the base; a second high beam lamp including a second high beam light emitting device disposed on the base; and a lighting controller configured to turn on the low beam light emitting device, the first high beam light emitting device, and the second high beam light emitting device when high beams are turned on.
