A heat treatment was carried out in a pressurized condition on an amorphous metal ribbon containing Fe and Co as main components and being represented by the general formula: (CoFe)XY. (In the formula, X represents at least one species of element selected from Si, B, C and Ge, Y represents at least one species of element selected from Zr, Nb, Ti, Hf, Ta, W, Cr, Mo, V, Ni, P, Al, Pt, Rh, Ru, Sn, Sb, Cu, Mn and rare earth elements, c, a and b satisfy 0&#x2266;c&#x2266;1.0, 10&#x3c;a&#x2266;35 and 0&#x2266;b&#x2266;30, respectively, and a and b are represented in terms of atomic %.) By carrying out a heat treatment in a pressurized condition in the same manner on a magnetic substrate comprising an amorphous metal ribbon and a heat resistant resin or a laminate of the substrates, not only the magnetic properties but also the mechanical properties and the processability are improved. The substrates can be used in antennas, which are devices that convert an electric wave to an electric signal, rotors and stators of electric motors and so on.

The invention provides a crosslinkable aromatic resin having a protonic acid group and a crosslinkable group, suitable for electrolytic membranes and binders used in fuel cells, etc., and electrolytic polymer membranes, binders and fuel cells using the resin. The crosslinkable aromatic resin has a crosslinkable group, which is not derived from the protonic acid group and can form a polymer network without any elimination component. This resin exhibits excellent ion conductivity, heat resistance, water resistance, adhesion property and low methanol permeability. Preferably, the crosslinkable group is composed of a Cto Calkyl group directly bonded to the aromatic ring and/or an alkylene group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms in the main chain in which at least one carbon atom directly bonded to the aromatic ring bonds to hydrogen, and a carbonyl group, or a carbon-carbon double bond or triple bond. The aromatic resins such as aromatic polyethers, aromatic polyamides, aromatic polyimides, aromatic polyamideimides, aromatic polyazoles, etc., which contain such a crosslinkable group, are preferred as the crosslinkable aromatic resins having a protonic acid group and a crosslinkable group.

Films and molded articles formed from aliphatic polyester compositions containing nucleating agents

A polylactic acid-based resin composition composed of a high molecular ingredient (A) comprising polylactic acid (a1) and an aliphatic polyester (B), and a film, particularly an inflation film, prepared from the resin composition. The film comprising the polylactic acid-based resin composition of the invention is biodegradable and excellent in flexibility and resistance to blocking of film and bleeding-out of plasticizer, has no anisotropy in tear strength, and can be suitably used for an agricultural multi-film and garbage bag. When the film of the invention is used for food wrapping, the film prevents fungus growth and contamination of color or odor, and thus can be suitably used.

Polylactic acid resin composition and film therefrom

A thermal resistant resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of polyester (A) having 25-75% by weight of a lactic acid component consisting of 25-75% by weight of a lactic acid-based polymer (a1) and 25-75% by weight of other aliphatic polyester (a2) having a melting point of 100-250.degree. C., and 0.1-70 parts by weight of a crystalline inorganic filler (B) containing 10% by weight or more of SiO.sub.2. The thermal resistant resin composition of the invention performs following function: 1) injection molding can be carried out at a mold temperature of Tg or less or around room temperature with a short molding-cycle, 2) quick crystallization velocity and satisfactory crystallinity can be attained in the molding step, and 3) the molded articles have, as a result, excellent thermal resistance and generate properties of low deterioration of a high polymer component and slow embrittlement in use.
