Provided are an igniter and a gas generator that suppress inhibition of fire transfer to an enhance agent by adjusting elongation of a cup-shaped member at the time of activation while maintaining sealability and insulation. A disk-type gas generatorhas a short substantially cylindrical housing in which one end and the other end in an axial direction are closed, and a holder, an igniterincluding a squib cover, a cup-shaped member, an enhance agent, a gas generating agent, a lower support member, an upper support member, a cushion material, a filter, and the like as internal components are accommodated in an accommodation space provided inside the housing. The squib coveris formed by molding a thermosetting resin or a thermoplastic resin containing an elongation percentage adjusting material into a cup shape in order to set an elongation percentage at the time of activation of the igniterto be greater than 0% and less than 10%.

Igniter and gas generator

The present invention is an electrophotographic transfer paper where at least one side of the base paper is given a coating layer with a pigment and an adhesive agent to form coated paper and where the aforementioned adhesive contains a branched poly(meth)acrylamide copolymer having a cationic groups and/or anionic groups and also has a weight average molecular weight of 50,000 to 1,000,000. The electrophotographic transfer paper in the present invention has superior high-speed throughput performance despite low basis weight and a low coating weight, therefore, good for high-speed copy machine and printer properties, especially, when it contained a printability improver in the coating layer, it has a good ink adhesion property and surface strength required in offset printing.

Thermally sensitive recording medium

A thermal sensitive recording medium which further contains poly urea compound in the thermal color developing layer containing dye precursor and color developer, which displays an excellent image preservative stability. Said poly urea compound contains units of a structure represented by general formula (1), and further contains a repeating unit represented by general formulae (2).about.(7). ##STR1## In these formulae A.sup.1 .about.A.sup.7 are a divalent group, R.sup.1 .about.R.sup.5 are an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or an electron accepting group, o, p, and q are an integer from 0 to 4, r is an integer from 2 to 12 and s and t are an integer from 0 to 8.
