The present invention provides a contents managing system, a contents managing methods, and a program are provided, by which a communication fee required to distribute such contents which will not be probably utilized is reduced when contents are distributed via a network. An image owner performs a user registration with respect to an image managing serverby employing an image owner terminal. After the user registration, an image purchaser makes an order of an image with reference to a trial image produced by the image owner terminal. The image owner as to this ordered image uploads actual image data to the image managing server, whereas the image purchaser downloads the actual image data which is uploaded.
