A tool-holding apparatus () includes an engaging member () for engaging a tool accessory (B) and being movably supported in axial and radial directions in a rotational-output shaft () having an insertion hole () for holding the tool accessory (B). A first biasing member () biases the engaging member towards engagement with the engaging member. A bit sleeve () is movable in the axial direction along an outer-circumferential surface of the rotational-output shaft between a blocking position at which radial outward movement of the engaging member is blocked and a permitting position at which radial outward movement of the engaging member is permitted. A second biasing member () biases the bit sleeve toward the blocking position. A positioning part () is fixed on the outer-circumferential surface of the rotational-output shaft and stops the bit sleeve at the blocking position. The bit sleeve has a projection (), which is disposed on the forward side of the first biasing member, extends inward in the radial direction, and slidably contacts the rotational-output shaft.

Tool-holding apparatus, impact driver, and electric work machine

A power tool reduces performance deterioration. The power tool includes a motor, an output unit, a motor compartment, and a grip. The motor includes a rotor bearing and a rotor rotatable about a rotation axis extending in a front-rear direction. The rotor includes a rotor magnet, a core to which the rotor magnet is fixed, and a shaft protruding from an end face of the core and supported by the rotor bearing. The shaft and the core together are a single member. The output unit is at least partially located frontward from the motor and rotatable by the rotor. The motor compartment accommodates at least a part of the motor. The grip protrudes downward from the motor compartment.

An impact tool (A) includes a spindle () rotated by a motor () and a hammer () rotated by the spindle. The hammer is designed to impact an anvil () in a rotational direction. A case () houses the hammer. A bearing (A,B) is disposed between the hammer case and the anvil. An O-ring () is disposed between the anvil and the bearing.

A technique reduces an increase in the size of an impact tool. An impact tool includes a motor, a striker drivable by the motor, an anvil including an anvil shaft to receive a tip tool, and an anvil projection protruding radially outward from a rear end of the anvil shaft to be struck by the striker in a rotation direction, a hammer case accommodating the striker, a bearing held in the hammer case and surrounding the anvil shaft, a ring member at least partially facing a front surface of the anvil projection and in contact with a rear end face of the bearing, and a stopper engaging with the hammer case and the ring member to reduce moving of the ring member rearward.

An electrical device includes a battery-mount part () configured such that a battery used as a power supply of a power tool is mountable thereon, and a heat-generating element () for boiling water using electric power from the battery (B, B) mounted on the battery-mount part. The electrical device further includes a drip case () for holding a pod, in which a predetermined amount of tea leaves or coffee grounds is encased in a permeable bag-shaped element. A hot water supply () supplies the water boiled by the heat-generating element () automatically to the drip case (). An impact tool includes a second spring with restricted free movement. The impact tool includes a motor, a spindle rotatable with a rotational force generated by the motor, a hammer supported by the spindle in a manner movable in a front-rear direction and in a rotation direction, an anvil to be struck by the hammer in the rotation direction, a first spring constantly urging the hammer forward, a second spring that urges, forward, the hammer moving backward from a reference position, a hammer case accommodating the hammer, the first spring, and the second spring, and a movement restrictor that restricts movement of the second spring in an internal space of the hammer case.

An electric working machine in one aspect of the present disclosure includes: a motor; a controller for controlling driving of the motor; a first setter; and a second setter. The first setter is operated for setting, as a control method for the motor, which is usable by the controller, one of control methods preliminarily registered. The second setter is operated for setting, as a control method for the motor, which is usable by the controller, at least one of the control methods settable via the first setter.

An impact driver includes a hammer that is rotated by a motor and an anvil configured to be struck by the hammer to rotate the anvil about a rotational axis. A hammer case houses the hammer. Two or more bearings are provided inside the hammer case and support the anvil. To inhibit vibration of the anvil during operation, the bearings may be differing types, such as a regular ball bearing and an angular contact ball bearing, and/or the bearings may have different inner and/or outer diameters. A contact member, such as an O-ring, may be disposed in an insertion hole of the anvil to reduce vibrations that are transmitted to the tool bit.

To provide a power tool and a rotary impact tool capable of suppressing transmission of vibration to a circuit board and so on from a drive portion connecting to a motor as a vibration generation source. An impact wrench includes a motor housing which houses a motor or a grip housing, a battery holding housing connecting to the motor housing or the grip housing through an elastic body and a control circuit board housed in the battery holding housing for controlling the motor.
