The object of the present invention is to suitably control a charging state of a human body all the time. An object of the present invention is to establish means for reliably incorporating a poorly soluble UV-absorbing agent into a hair cosmetic composition, to thereby provide a hair cosmetic composition which has excellent effect of preventing UV-hair damage and which exhibits favorable sensation in use thereof. Specifically, the object can be attained through provision of a hair cosmetic composition including the following ingredients (1) and (2): wherein R represents a phytosterol residue or a phytostanol residue; m is a number from 0 to 100; and n is a number from 5 to 100, and (2) a UV-absorbing agent having a triazine group.

The present invention provides a microgel having a mean particle size of 0.1-1,000 &#x3bc;m, the microgel being produced from a gel which is formed by use of a hydrophilic compound capable of forming a gel. An external composition containing the microgel provides an excellent sensation during use; i.e., the composition provides neither sticky sensation during use nor frictional sensation. Furthermore, even when a large amount of a pharmaceutical ingredient, such as a whitening ingredient, or a salt is incorporated into the composition, the viscosity of the composition is not lowered, and the composition exhibits excellent viscosity increasing property. In addition, the composition exhibits long-term stability, without inviting separation of water.

The present invention is to provide a new compound having a rough skin improving effect, excellent in safety, excellent in texture in use, especially free of sticky feeling, excellent in refreshing feeling, and capable to improve the base agent stability as a component. Further, an emulsified composition for hair, which is an water-in-oil emulsified composition and which contains the following two types of oil phase as the oil phase, improves the feel of hair immediately after use: 1) an oil phase with an average particle size of 0.5 &#x3bc;m or less, formed with a nonionic surfactant that is a solid at normal temperature and has a Krafft point of at least 40&#xb0; C., and 2) an oil phase with an average particle size of 0.5 to 100 &#x3bc;m, formed with a surfactant and/or an alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymer.

Emulsified composition for hair

The hairdressing cosmetic preparation of the present invention is characterized by comprising a heat-gelling polymer which becomes to gel upon heating. The gelling temperature of the heat-gelling polymer is preferably 60&deg; C. or higher. Preferable heat-gelling polymer is polysaccharides such as &bgr;-1,3-glucan, &bgr;-1,3-xylan, curdlan and the like. The hair dressing preparation of the present invention, due to using such heat-gelling polymer, can give excellent hairdressing effect and hair-setting power when hair applied with the hairdressing preparation is treated with heating.
