Method for determining characteristic stress of welding structure, method for designing welded structure, and method for manufacturing welded structure

The steam generator includes: a water supply channel for supplying a secondary coolant to a tube bundle outer casing with the secondary coolant being isolated from the recirculating secondary coolant; a recirculating secondary coolant injection section for injecting the recirculating secondary coolant toward a high temperature-side heat transfer tube bundle; and a supplied secondary coolant injection section for injecting the secondary coolant supplied from the water supply channel toward a low temperature-side heat transfer tube bundle. The recirculating secondary coolant injection section and the supplied secondary coolant injection section being disposed in the tube bundle outer casing on the side toward the tube plate. The recirculating secondary coolant injection section and the supplied secondary coolant injection section are defined such that, of the secondary coolant and the recirculating secondary coolant, the coolant having a higher relative flow rate than the other flows at a lower velocity.

A liquid ejection head including: includes an ejection orifice for ejecting liquid, a pressure chamber communicating with the ejection orifice, a flow path for supplying the liquid to the pressure chamber, and a first heat-generating element and a second heat-generating element for generating energy to be used for ejecting the liquid. The first heat-generating element is arranged in the pressure chamber before the second heat-generating element with respect to a supply direction of the liquid from the flow path to the pressure chamber. A portion between the first heat-generating element and the second heat-generating element is located within a projection of an opening of the ejection orifice, when viewed from a direction in which the liquid is ejected from the ejection orifice.

A liquid ejection method is effected in a liquid ejection head that includes an ejection orifice for ejecting a liquid, a flow path for supplying the liquid from a liquid supply port to the ejection orifice, and a heat generating element. The heat generating element is rectangular with a long-side to short-side ratio of 2.5 or more for generating thermal energy used to eject the liquid, and a longitudinal direction of the heat generating element is arranged along an extending direction of the flow path. An end portion of the heat generating element on a downstream side with respect to a liquid flowing direction within the flow path is located between an end portion of the ejection orifice on the downstream side and an end portion of the ejection orifice on an upstream side when viewed from a direction in which the liquid is ejected from the ejection orifice.

In a liquid discharge head substrate having a connection line connected to a plurality of energy generating elements, and arranged between adjacent energy generating elements, a distance between the adjacent energy generating elements, between which the connection line is not arranged, is provided to be narrower than a distance of a portion where the connection line is provided.

An object is to provide a heat transfer tube support structure capable of preventing deterioration of the reliability and the durability of a heat transfer tube. In a steam generator (heat exchanger) having a lower barrel (vessel), heat transfer tubes disposed in the lower barrel, and tube support plates disposed in the lower barrel and having heat transfer tube insertion holes opened in a thickness direction, support portions for supporting the heat transfer tubes are formed to the intermediate portions of the inner surfaces of the heat transfer tube insertion holes in the axial direction of the heat transfer tube insertion holes, and the regions between the support portions and the respective open ends of the heat transfer tube insertion holes are formed of inclined surfaces inclining in a radial direction outwardly in the heat transfer tube insertion holes toward the open ends, respectively.

A liquid jet recording head includes liquid discharge ports, pressure chambers, and a substrate which has the discharge energy generating element, a liquid chamber for storing a liquid supplied to the pressure chamber, a pair of paths which are separated from the liquid chamber, and a liquid supply port communicating with the liquid chamber. A liquid inlet port communicating with one path of the pair of paths and a liquid outlet port communicating with the other path of the pair of paths are opened on one surface of the substrate. A print head that ejects ink supplied through an ink supply port can prevent the size of satellites from being reduced while inhibiting an increase in resistance to an ink flow. In the print head, ink supply ports are arranged on both sides of a plurality of channels. A predetermined number of ink supply ports are arranged at least at one side of the ink channel all over the range of the arrangement of the channels. A liquid ejection recording head includes an element substrate having plural ejection energy generating elements, an ejection outlet array of plural ejection outlets, and bubble generation chambers.
