A subframe structure includes a frame front part and a frame rear part in a vehicle front-rear direction. The frame front part and the frame rear part are joined together. The frame front part has a higher strength than the frame rear part. The subframe has different strengths from part to part. The frame front part is made of a galvannealed steel plate (GA steel plate) subjected to an electrodeposition coating. The frame rear part is made of a hot-dip galvanized steel plate (GI steel plate) subjected to an electrodeposition coating. A rear cross member of an aluminum die-casting and a rear cross panel of a hot-dip galvanized steel plate (GI steel plate) are integrally joined together by a friction stir welding.

Different materials joint structure

There is provided a vehicle subframe () in which a projecting portion () of a front member () extends upward, while projecting from a body portion in a width direction, to have an upper end (), and exhibits a convex shape toward a front side, with the upper end () functioning as a front attachment portion to a vehicle body, in such a manner that support stiffness of a suspension can be improved, while ensuring favorable productivity, high strength, and the like, with a simple configuration.

Subframe for vehicle

A vehicle subframe is provided with a main body formed in a hollow shape by a core unit. The subframe includes: a top parallel section and a bottom rear parallel section provided to the top and the bottom of the main body; a top left sand elimination opening and a top right sand eliminating opening formed at the top parallel section; and a left bottom rear sand elimination opening and a right bottom rear sand elimination opening formed at the bottom rear parallel section. The left bottom rear sand elimination opening is provided to a site opposing the top left sand elimination opening, and is formed in a shape equivalent to the top left sand elimination opening. The right bottom rear sand elimination opening is provided to a site opposing the top right sand elimination opening, and is formed in a shape equivalent to the top right sand elimination opening.

Vehicle subframe

This vehicle subframe () includes a main body section () that results from a top section () and a bottom section () being provided with a predetermined gap in the vertical direction by means of being formed in a hollow shape by means of a core unit (). A central joining section () is provided to the front-half section () at the center () in the vehicle widthwise direction of the main body section (). Furthermore, in the main body section (), a rear partition wall () is joined to the top section () and the bottom section () at the rearwards direction of the vehicle with respect to the central joining section (). The rear partition wall () extends in the front-back direction of the vehicle.

A vehicle subframe includes, at the bottom of a main body section, a lateral expansion section, a left vertical expansion section, a right vertical expansion section, and a concavity. The lateral expansion section joins a left front joining section and a right front joining section, and expands below the concavity. Of the left vertical expansion section, the front end is joined to the left end of the lateral expansion section, and the left vertical expansion section is inclined with a downward slope from the rear side of the main body section towards the front end. The right vertical expansion section is formed in a left-right symmetrical manner with respect to the left vertical expansion section, and the front end is joined to the lateral expansion section. The concavity is encircled by the vertical expansion sections and the lateral expansion section, and is formed in a concave shape facing upwards.

A front-end structure for a vehicle is provided with: front side frames, a subframe extending across a vehicle body floor front portion to support a suspension component and an electric power steering device, the subframe being supported at least at the front end portion and at the rear end portion and being formed in a subframe main body from a light alloy casting, and a pair of left and right extension arms that are fixed to the subframe main body and extend forward of the subframe main body, and that are formed from a light alloy or steel by press-molding. In the rear portion of the extension arms in the vicinity the subframe main body, provided is a recessed portion that serves as a point at which downward bending starts midway along the lengthwise direction of the subframe with an input load in the event of a vehicle frontal collision.

Front-end structure for vehicle

A vehicle subframe includes a hollow body part and a loft suspension support part provided to a left end part of the body part. The left suspension support part has a left front connecting part, and the left front connecting part is opened downward ward and laterally outward, whereby a left suspension arm is connected from a laterally outward side. A parting line mark of the subframe is formed in a bottom end part of a front connecting wall, and is formed in a laterally outward side part of the front connecting wall so as to extend upward from the bottom end part along the laterally outward side part.

Sub-frame for vehicle

A vehicle sub-frame includes a hollow body having a hollow part thereinside formed by casting using a core. The hollow body includes a front wall and a rear wall. The front wall has a front bulging section formed to bulge outward at a position corresponding to a parting line. The front bulging section is formed on a part avoiding a top wall and a bottom wall of the hollow body. The rear wall has a rear bulging section formed to bulge outward at a position corresponding to the parting line. The rear wall is formed on a part avoiding the top wall and the bottom wall.
