A steering assembly basically includes a steering gearbox, a bracket, a rotational motion restriction structure, and a translational motion restriction structure. The steering gearbox includes a housing and a steering rack. The steering rack has a first rack end and a second rack end. The bracket is coupled to the first rack end. The bracket includes a first tie rod connection located axially inward of the first rack end and the second rack end with respect to a longitudinal center axis of the steering rack. The rotational motion restriction structure is configured to restrict rotational movement of the bracket relative to the longitudinal center axis of the steering rack. The translational motion restriction structure is configured to limit translational movement of the steering rack along the longitudinal center axis of the steering rack. The rotational motion restriction structure and the translational motion restriction structure are located at different locations.

Steering assembly

An accelerator pedal is located forward of the driver seat. The accelerator pedal is supported by a bracket and is movable by stepping on than accelerator pedal. An accelerator position, sensor is located higher than the bracket and detects a deflection amount of the accelerator pedal. A wire connects the accelerator pedal and the accelerator position sensor to each other. The vehicle can prevent the accelerator position sensor from being splashed with mud and water.

Vehicle

A vehicle includes an engine, a front frame, a rear frame, an intermediate frame, a front propeller shaft, a rear propeller shaft, and a brake. A pair of right and left front lower arms are swingably mounted to the front frame. A pair of right and left rear lower arms are swingably mounted to the rear frame. The intermediate frame is located between the front frame and the rear frame. The front propeller shaft extends forward from the engine and the rear propeller shaft extends rearward from the engine. The brake is located outside the engine in the front-rear direction and within a region defined by the intermediate frame and brakes a rotation of the front propeller shaft.

A vehicle includes a pair of support portions that connect a frame portion and a roll-over protection cage to each other; a cross member that extends in a width direction of the vehicle and connects the pair of support portions to each other at positions higher than centers of the pair of support portions in an up-down direction of the vehicle; a first seat portion, a second seat portion, and a third seat portion in a front row; and a seat belt unit corresponding to the second seat portion. The seat belt unit includes a winding device located at a position lower than a shoulder anchor. The cross member is located between an upper end of the shoulder anchor and a lower end of the winding device in a front view of the vehicle, and supports the shoulder anchor and the winding device.

A vehicle includes a seat, an engine, a fuel tank, a canister connected to the fuel tank via a gas pipe, a breather pipe, and a drainpipe. The fuel tank is located lower than a seat surface of the seat. The canister adsorbs evaporation gas generated by evaporation of fuel inside the fuel tank. The breather pipe includes an inlet connected to the canister, and an outlet located at a higher position than the seat surface of the seat and open to the atmosphere. The drainpipe includes a drain hole located lower than the outlet, and branches from the breather pipe.

A vehicle includes an engine, a continuously variable transmission, a shiftable transmission, a switching lever, a shift rod, and an operation lever. The continuously variable transmission is located at a side of the engine. The shiftable transmission is located on the same side as the engine in a right-left direction with respect to the continuously variable transmission. The switching lever is located on the same side as the continuously variable transmission with respect to a center of the shiftable transmission in the right-left direction, and inputs a shifting operation force into the shiftable transmission. The shift rod is linked to the switching lever. The operation lever is operated by a driver seated on the seat to shift the shiftable transmission, and is linked to the shift rod.

An all terrain vehicle includes a caliper bracket that moves with the movement of a rear axle by the rotation of an eccentric hub. The eccentric hub rotatably supports the rear axle in a position eccentric to the radial center of an axle supporting section. The caliper bracket includes a range specifying section or, specifically, a first engaging portion, which engages with the rear arm, for specifying the rotating range of the eccentric hub according to the position of engagement with the rear arm. The rear arm includes a second engaging portion that engages with the first engaging portion.

All terrain vehicle with drive-chain tension adjuster

An all terrain vehicle has necessary rigidity despite a split-type body frame being used. A body frame is split into front and rear subframes along a front-to-rear direction of the vehicle, the subframes being detachably linked to each other via bolts. An upper linking section between the subframes is disposed between an engine upper suspension section for suspending an upper portion of an engine unit and an engine rear suspension section for suspending a rear portion of the engine unit.
