A home appliance monitoring system includes: a plurality of home systems respectively including a central managing device configured to collect monitoring information from a home appliance; and a center server connected to the central managing device of each home system. The center server calculates the current load amount, and sends an activating instruction signal or a deactivating instruction signal to each central managing device on the basis of the current load amount. The central managing device sets its communication status to an activated status in response to receiving the activating instruction signal, and sets its communication status to a deactivated status in response to receiving the deactivating instruction signal. The home system stores the monitoring information while the communication status is the deactivated status. The home system sends the stored monitoring information to the center server when the communication status is switched from the deactivated status to the activated status. The home system sends the monitoring information to the center server while the communication status is the activated status. The center server stores the monitoring information received from the home system.

Home appliance monitoring system

A network system suitable for remote monitoring or remote control of equipments is provided. When an execution of a server-side object is requested from a client terminal device to a server, the server requests an execution of an equipment-side object to the equipment(s). The execution request of the server-side object from the client terminal device is performed by use of a first identifier assigned to the server-side object, and the execution request of the equipment-side object is performed by use of a second identifier assigned to the equipment-side object. Since the server has an identifier setting function of setting a correspondence relation between the first identifier and the second identifier, it is possible to reduce burden on the client terminal device, and flexibly cope with cases of exchanging and increasing the equipment(s) in the network system without considering specific identification information of the equipments such as IP address.

Network system

The home appliance managing system includes a plurality of central managing devices and a center server. The center server is connected to the plurality of the central managing devices, and stores plural data used at home appliances. When the central managing device stores predetermined data requested by the home appliance, the central managing device sends the predetermined data to the home appliance. When the central managing device does not store the predetermined data, the central managing device requests the predetermined data from the center server. The center server sends the predetermined data to the central managing device in response to the request from the central managing device. The central managing device sends the predetermined data received from the center server to the home appliance and stores the same data. The center server selects the cache data from the plural data on the basis of the data previously sent to the central managing device, and sends the cache data to the central managing device. The central managing device stores the cache data received from the center server.

Home appliance managing system

A network system is provided, in which a system change can be easily performed by adding or exchanging an equipment(s) to be controlled or monitored. The equipment has an object with an object identifier defined according to a service content provided by the equipment. Upon the receipt of a service request using the object identifier from a network device connected to the equipment via a network, the equipment executes the service defined in the object according to this service request. By assigning a same object identifier to objects of a plurality of equipments, it is possible to provide the same service from those equipments according to the service request performed from the network device by use of the same object identifier.

This network equipment system is a system of a functional processing system, and is configured so that each network device performs a function assigned to itself whereby the whole system performs the predetermined action. Each network device has a function memory part, a variable memory exchanger, an execution function selector, and a function execution part. The variable memory exchangeris connected to each network device through a telecommunications line, and it stores a variable necessary for execution of the functions stored in the function memory partof each network device, and it shares the variable among the network devices. The execution function selector refers the variable stored in the variable memory exchanger, and it selects an executable function out of the functions stored in the function memory part. The function execution part executes the function selected by the execution function selector and updates the variable stored in the variable memory exchanger by the execution result.
