A gas detector detects difluoromethane present in a remote target space. The gas detector includes a detection portion that detects the difluoromethane by using absorption of light of a predetermined wavelength. The predetermined wavelength is in a wavelength range of any of a first wavelength range of 1659 to 1673 nm, a second wavelength range of 1724 to 1726 nm, a third wavelength range of 2218 to 2221 nm, a fourth wavelength range of 2463 to 2466 nm, a fifth wavelength range of 3316 to 3318 nm, and a sixth wavelength range of 9034 to 9130 nm.

Gas detector and leakage-gas detection system

A determination section of a sleep control apparatus determines an awakening point based on target data. The target data is time-series data of biological information of a target person in a target period. The target period is a period between wakefulness to failing asleep of the target person, or a period from the wakefulness of the target person to a time point at which a predetermined time has passed since the target person fell asleep. The controller controls a target device so that the target device stimulates the target person to wake up at the awakening point.

A refrigeration apparatus pertaining to the invention can suppress clogging due to polymers formed by the polymerization of refrigerant and improve safety. The refrigeration apparatus is equipped with a refrigeration cycle in which a compressor, a condenser, an expansion mechanism, and an evaporator are connected in a loop. The refrigeration apparatus is equipped with a polymer catcher. The polymer catcher is attached to piping interconnecting an outlet side of the compressor and an inlet side of the condenser and catches polymers of refrigerant circulating in the refrigeration cycle. A refrigerant circulates through the heat source unit, the utilization unit, the liquid refrigerant pipe, and the gas refrigerant pipe. A disproportionation inhibitor for reducing a disproportionation reaction of the refrigerant is applied to at least a part of inner surfaces of the liquid refrigerant pipe, the gas refrigerant pipe, and the utilization unit internal pipelines.

To reduce the possibility that temperature of refrigerant discharged from a compressor of a refrigeration apparatus becomes excessively high by controlling torque of a motor built into the compressor, the compressor includes the motor having rotation thereof controlled by inverter control. An inverter controller controls torque of the motor using inverter control when operation frequency of the compressor is at least one value within a range of from 10 Hz to 40 Hz. When at least the operation frequency is within the range of from 10 Hz to 40 Hz, torque of the motor is controlled, and under a predetermined condition in which temperature of refrigerant discharged from the compressor easily becomes excessively high, a device controller controls devices provided in a refrigerant circuit such that refrigerant sucked into the compressor is placed in a wet vapor state.

A method of searching for a refrigerant leak location is provided which can easily specify the refrigerant leak location. In the method of searching for the refrigerant leak location in a refrigeration apparatus () in which a refrigerant is charged and which includes a refrigeration circuit () performing a refrigeration cycle, the refrigeration circuit () is prepared in a state that the refrigerant containing an odor component is charged therein, and the refrigerant leak location is specified by letting a dog capable of detecting the odor component to run along the refrigeration circuit ().

Method of searching for refrigerant leak location

Provided is a refrigeration apparatus that is capable of determining an increased possibility of ignition due to a refrigerant leak. An air conditioner () including a refrigerant circuit () includes a refrigerant gas sensor () and an oxygen gas sensor (). The refrigerant circuit () has an R32 refrigerant charged therein, and performs a refrigeration cycle. The refrigerant gas sensor () detects a refrigerant gas in a room where at least a portion of the air conditioner () is located. The oxygen gas sensor () detects an oxygen gas in the room.

Provided is an indoor unit for a refrigeration apparatus that is capable of detecting a refrigerant leak while suppressing condensation on a refrigerant gas sensor. An indoor unit () for an air conditioner () including a refrigerant circuit () includes a casing (), an indoor fan (), and a refrigerant gas sensor (). The refrigerant circuit () has refrigerant charged therein, and performs a refrigeration cycle. The casing () houses at least a portion of the refrigerant circuit (), and has a blow-out port () that opens in a direction other than an up-down direction. The refrigerant gas sensor () is capable of detecting a refrigerant gas below a bottom surface () of the casing ().

Indoor unit for refrigeration apparatus

A refrigerant recovery system is equipped with an extraction pipe, a stabilizer holding container, a recovery pipe, a recovery container, and a recovery device. The extraction pipe is connectable to a refrigerant extraction port of an air conditioning apparatus. The stabilizer holding container is connected to the extraction pipe&#x2014;and holds a stabilizer. The stabilizer holding container causes refrigerant guided by the extraction pipe to come into contact with the stabilizer. The recovery pipe guides the refrigerant discharged from the stabilizer holding container. The recovery container is connected to the recovery pipe and recovers the refrigerant guided by the recovery pipe. The recovery device causes the refrigerant to move from the refrigerant extraction port to the recovery container. The refrigerant includes a compound represented by a molecular formula having one or more carbon-carbon unsaturated bonds.

Refrigerant recovery device and refrigerant recovery method

Dehumidification cannot be performed when a load decreases. In an air conditioner of the present invention, an indoor heat exchanger includes an auxiliary heat exchangerand a main heat exchangerdisposed leeward from the auxiliary heat exchanger. In an operation in a predetermined dehumidification operation mode, a liquid refrigerant supplied to the auxiliary heat exchangerall evaporates midway in the auxiliary heat exchanger. Therefore, only an upstream partial area in the auxiliary heat exchangeris an evaporation region, while an area downstream of the evaporation region in the auxiliary heat exchangeris a superheat region. In the predetermined dehumidification operation mode, a compressor and an expansion valve are controlled so that the extent of the evaporation region of the auxiliary heat exchangervaries depending on the load.

Air conditioner

An air conditioning device includes a main refrigerant circuit and a discharge-intake bypass circuit. The refrigerant circuit is operable in a heating mode and a positive cycle defrosting mode. It is possible for refrigerant to bypass from a discharge side to an intake side of the compressor when the refrigerant circuit is operating in the heating mode. The refrigerant circuit is operable in a positive cycle defrosting mode. When the refrigerant circuit is operating in the positive cycle defrosting mode, a superheat valve of the discharge-intake bypass circuit is opened and the refrigerant is caused to bypass from the discharge side to the intake side of the compressor through the bypass circuit and a defrosting-mode main valve high-pressure control is performed to adjust a valve opening of a main valve so that a high pressure level of a refrigerating cycle in the refrigerant circuit reaches a target high pressure.
