The present invention aims to provide an electrode mixture which shows little change in viscosity even after 24 hours from the preparation of the mixture and enables production of an electrode having a high electrode density and excellent flexibility and is capable of giving excellent electric properties to the resulting cell. The present invention relates to an electrode mixture including a powdery electrode material; a binder; and an organic solvent, the binder including polyvinylidene fluoride and a fluorine-containing polymer including a polymer unit based on vinylidene fluoride and a polymer unit based on tetrafluoroethylene, the fluorine-containing polymer including the polymer unit based on vinylidene fluoride in an amount of 80.0 to 90.0 mol % based on all the polymer units, the polyvinylidene fluoride having a number average molecular weight of 150,000 to 1,400,000.

The present invention relates to an electrode mixture including a powdery electrode material; a binder; and an organic solvent, the binder including a fluorine-containing polymer including a polymer unit based on vinylidene fluoride and a polymer unit based on tetrafluoroethylene, the fluorine-containing polymer including the polymer unit based on vinylidene fluoride in an amount of 80.0 to 89.0 mol % based on all the polymer units, and the organic solvent being N-methyl-2-pyrolidone and/or N,N-dimethylacetamide.

A binder, including a fluoropolymer, the fluoropolymer including a polymerization unit based on vinylidene fluoride and a polymerization unit based on a monomer having an amide group represented by &#x2014;CO&#x2014;NRR' (R and R&#x2032; are the same as or different from each other and each represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group optionally having a substituent group) or an amide bond represented by &#x2014;CO&#x2014;NR&#x2033;&#x2014; (R&#x2033; represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group optionally having a substituent group, or a phenyl group optionally having a substituent group) and having a solution viscosity of 10 to 20,000 mPa&#xb7;s. Also disclosed is a positive electrode mixture and a negative electrode mixture containing the binder, a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a lithium ion secondary cell.

The present invention provides an organosol composition that is stable even in the case that the PTFE particle content is high. The present invention relates to an organosol composition of PTFE particles, comprising PTFE particles (A), a polymer (B), and an organic solvent (S), wherein (1) the polymer (B) is soluble in the organic solvent (S), (2) the amount of the PTFE particles (A) is not lower than 50% by mass of the total amount of the PTFE particles (A) and the polymer (B), and (3) the precipitation ratio of the PTFE particles after 48 hours is not higher than 60% when the total solids concentration of the PTFE particles (A) and the polymer (B) is 5% by mass.
