An air damper is provided which can exhibit an appropriate braking force in accordance with an input load. Air damper

According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a lid system including: a lid mounted to a recess to be opened and closed; a locking unit that retains the lid in a locked state to keep the lid closed; and a lock releasing unit that releases the locked state to open the lid. The locking unit includes: a pin that is protruded from a peripheral edge of the lid to be engaged with a hole on the recess in the locked state and retreated to release the locked state. The lock releasing unit includes: a push button pushable in a pushing direction; and a pushing element moved to push the lock pin in an opposite direction of the pushing direction by being linked with the push button.

A holder for clamping one or more rods is so constructed that the holder includes a holder body having a base part and a pair of side wall portions which vertically extend from the base part in parallel to each other, tongue pieces extending from upper ends of the side wall portions inwardly into the insertion inlet, and flexibly displaceable retaining pieces for receiving the rod extending from the base part to an interior of the holding part to elastically press the inserted rod toward the tongue pieces, the retaining pieces including vertical portions extending from the base part independently of and in parallel to the side wall portions, and arcuate retaining portions bent back from the vertical portions to support a lower part of the rod.

Rod holder

A flange having a first flange close to a roof panel and a second flange close to a roof rail which are mutually overlapped with each other is disposed in a peripheral edge of an opening portion of a vehicle body. A peripheral edge of a window shield panel is bonded on the flange. A spacer inserting port open in both ends is provided between the first flange and the second flange. A first spacer has an inserting portion and a first engaging portion. The inserting portion is inserted into the spacer inserting port from one of the openings, whereby the first spacer is fixed to the flange and the first engaging portion projects over an outer surface of the flange. The second spacer is fixed to a peripheral edge of the window shield panel. The second spacer has a second engaging portion engageable with the first engaging portion. When the first and second engaging portions are mutually engaged with each other, the window shield panel is positioned with respect to the flange. Accordingly, a position that both the spacers are engaged is defined without being affected by a spring back due to a press molding of the flange. Therefore, an accuracy that the window shield panel is mounted is improved.

A bracket for fixing to a prescribed member a flexible tube, such as the protective boot installed in an automobile suspension device, includes a stationary ring fixed on the prescribed member. A spacer ring is fitted to the stationary ring and provided with resilient supporting arms, and a fastening ring is fitted to the spacer ring for fastening a terminal part of the flexible tube. Alternatively, the stationary ring fixed on the prescribed member is provided with the resilient supporting arms, and the fastening ring is fitted to the stationary ring for fastening the terminal part of the flexible tube. By the fact that the fastening ring is rotatably retained directly or through the spacer ring on the stationary ring by virtue of the resilient force derived from the resilient supporting arms, provided either on the spacer ring or on the stationary ring, the bracket is infallibly fixed to the prescribed member through the stationary ring, and the flexible tube fastened to the fastening ring is allowed to rotate freely relative to the stationary ring. Thus, it is possible to eliminate the possibility that the terminal part of the flexible tube will be twisted as a consequence of the rotation of the prescribed member and will be eventually broken through fatigue.

In a structure for removably mounting a support rod for supporting an openable closure member such as engine hood of a motor vehicle, a retainer means formed of a plastic material is provided which is attached to at least one end of the support rod. When it is attempted to support the closure member at its open position by means of the support rod, the retainer means is fitted in a mounting aperture formed in the motor vehicle.
