A radiographic tomography apparatus includes a tomosynthetic image capturing section for applying radiation from a radiation source to an examinee at a plurality of different angles, and detecting the radiation transmitted through the examinee with a radiation conversion panel to capture a plurality of tomosynthetic tomography images of the examinee. The radiographic tomography apparatus further includes a still image capturing section for capturing a plurality of still images of the examinee in one image capturing position at different times, and a body motion detector for detecting a body motion of the examinee based on the still images captured by the still image capturing section.

Radiographic tomography apparatus

A tomographic image capturing apparatus includes a radiation source for applying radiation to a subject at a plurality of different angles with respect to the subject, a radiation detector for detecting the radiation which has passed through the subject at each of the different angles and converting the detected radiation into image data, a tomographic image reconstructing unit for processing the image data into a reconstructed tomographic image, and an image capturing sequence setting section for establishing an image capturing sequence of a tomosynthesis image capturing process and a simple image capturing process based on ordering information which represents the tomosynthesis image capturing process for acquiring the reconstructed tomographic image and the simple image capturing process for acquiring a simple captured image.

Tomographic image capturing apparatus and tomographic image capturing method

A recording head is provided with an element substrate and a circuit board fixed to a head substrate having heat radiation property. Plural heating elements are formed linearly in the element substrate, and plural driver ICs are attached to the element substrate. A temperature sensor is disposed between the driver ICs. The temperature sensor measures average temperature of the plural heating elements, and adjusts a heat quantity of each heating element in accordance with the average temperature. In the preferred embodiment, the plural temperature sensors and a heating element array are arranged on both sides of the element substrate such that the plural temperature sensors are disposed underneath the heating element array. The plural temperature sensors are accommodated in a concave portion of the head substrate.

A light emitting element array is made with large light emitting elements and small light emitting elements are arranged on a substrate in a matrix-like form. The large light emitting element has the luminescent area of about 1 mm square. There is a clearance Nof about 0.5 mm between the large light emitting elements. The small light emitting element has the luminescent area of about 0.5 mm square, and each small light emitting element is disposed at a position corresponding to each clearance Nin the scanning direction. Because the large light emitting elements and the small light emitting elements do not overlap each other in the scanning direction, even if the light emitting element array comes close to a thermosensitive recording paper, there becomes no uneven distribution of light quantity of the light emitting element array in the scanning direction.

Light emitting device

Projectors display a movie of a tourist resort, which is a background image, on screens, and video cameras take video by overlapping a subject walking on a treadmill with the background image. Therefore, the subject can be naturally combined in the background image, and also can enjoy a virtual experience such as strolling at the tourist resort during the video taking.

Video image producing method and apparatus

A heating element array is cleaned in case foreign matters are adhered or deposited to a thermal head, such as after printing. A color thermal recording paper is fed in a state that the thermal head is heated not so as to develop a cyan thermosensitive coloring layer. After that, a cleaning portion and the heating element array are in slidable contact with each other, so that the heating element array is cleaned. The cleaning portion used for the cleaning treatment is cut away and discharged through a delivery opening.

Thermal printer and method of cleaning thermal head

A color thermal printer is provided with a humidity sensor and a paper type discerning sensor. The humidity measured in the humidity sensor is converted to a humidity dependency correction coefficient by an LUT memory. The paper type discerned by the paper type discerning sensor is converted to a paper type dependency correction coefficient by an LUT memory. Image data of one line is converted to a coefficient of dynamic friction of each heating element. A printing load calculator calculates the printing load of one line based on the coefficient of dynamic friction of one line, the humidity correction coefficient, the paper type correction coefficient, and pressing force of a thermal head. The rotation speed of a feeding motor for feeding a color thermal recording paper is controlled in response to the printing load of each line.

Color thermal printer

To record an image on a thermosensitive color recording material, a heating element array of a thermal head is pressed onto an obverse side of the thermosensitive color recording material while a platen roller supports the color recording material from its back side. The thermosensitive color recording material is conveyed first in a forward direction for recording a yellow frame, next in a backward direction for recording a magenta frame, and then again in the forward direction for recording a cyan frame. A rotary shaft of the platen roller is mounted to bearing members that are caused by a pair of piezoelectric actuators to slide back and forth along conveying directions of the thermosensitive color recording material, thereby to displace a rotary center of the platen roller upstream from a center of the heating element in either conveying direction of the thermosensitive color recording material.

Thermosensitive printer

A thermosensitive recording sheet includes a support and three thermosensitive coloring layers overlaid on the support. A print is produced by image recording to the recording sheet. A colorless gloss indicia is recorded by thermal recording, and discernible according to a glossiness difference. In a preferred embodiment, an image reading device comprises an image reader for reading an image from an original. A glossmeter unit measures glossiness of respectively unit areas in the original. An arithmetic operation unit obtains an average glossiness of the glossiness of respectively the unit areas. An indicia discriminator checks existence of a gloss indicia according to a glossiness difference between the glossiness of respectively the unit areas and the average glossiness. A controller allows the image reader to operate if the gloss indicia lacks, and generates an alarm signal if the gloss indicia exists.

Print, printing method, printer, and image reading method and device capable of inhibiting improper reproduction

A yellow thermal head, a mazenta thermal head and a cyan thermal head are disposed along a feed path of the thermosensitive recording sheet at a predetermined distance. Each thermal heads confront to respective platen rollers. During feeding the thermosensitive recording sheet, a yellow image, a mazenta image and a cyan image are sequentially recorded. There is a difference in relative positions of the thermal heads to centers of the confronting platen rollers. An offset length has different values corresponding to coloring layers of the thermosensitive recording sheet. There is also a difference in withdraw angles at which the thermosensitive recording sheet leaves from the thermal heads. Each withdraw angle is determined corresponding to the thermal heads.

Thermal printer

A cyan thermal coloring layer, a magenta thermal coloring layer, and a yellow thermal coloring layer are successively formed on a base of a thermo-sensitive recording paper. A yellow thermal head, a magenta thermal head, and a cyan thermal head are disposed along a conveyance path. While the thermo-sensitive recording paper is being conveyed in the sub scanning direction along the conveyance path, three colors images are sequentially recorded by the three thermal heads. When the length of heat elements of the respective thermal heads are Ly, Lm and Lc in a sub scanning direction, it follows that Ly<Lm<Lc. When heated by the yellow thermal head, the isothermal curve shows minimum width in the surface of the thermo-sensitive recording paper. Meanwhile the isothermal curve of the cyan thermal head shows maximum width. By changing the isothermal curves of the three colors, the dots of the three colors are made equal in size.

Three-heads one-pass type thermal printer

A thermal printer includes a conveyor for conveying thermosensitive recording material in a predetermined conveying direction. A thermal head applies heat to the recording material being conveyed, to record an image to the recording material. The thermal head incorporates plural heating elements, which are arranged in an array crosswise to the conveying direction, and generate the heat. The thermal head includes a contact region predetermined for pressing the recording material. A center of the contact region is positioned downstream from a center of the heating elements with reference to the conveying direction.

Thermal head, thermal printer and thermal printing method

A thermal head has plural heating elements arranged in line in a main scan direction. The heating elements are supplied with a train of drive pulses while the thermosensitive recording sheet is conveyed in a sub scan direction crosswise to the main scan direction, for thermal recording to the recording material by one line. The heating elements are grouped into first and second groups. The drive pulse train for the first group of the heating elements is determined by starting the drive pulse train at a start of the one line. The drive pulse train for the second group of the heating elements is determined by ending the drive pulse train at an end of the one line.

Thermal printing method and apparatus having groups of separately drive heating elements in the thermal head

A thermosensitive recording sheet is conveyed relative to a thermal head. To effect thermal recording, the thermal head applies heat energy to the recording sheet. The recording sheet is preheated with preheating energy shortly before recording of the recording sheet with the thermal head. The preheating energy is lower than enough to color the recording sheet, but heightens temperature of the recording sheet upon movement of the recording sheet to the thermal head. The heat energy to be applied by the thermal head is reduced according to the preheating energy.

Thermal printing method and thermal printer

In a one-pass multi-head type color thermal printer having at least first to third printing stages arranged along a transport path, slacks are provided in the recording material between the first to third printing stages. The amounts of the slacks are measured by respective slack sensors. The transporting speed of the recording material through the second printing stage is fixed at a constant value, and the transporting speeds through the first and third printing stages are controlled in accordance with the outputs from the slack sensors, so as to maintain the amounts of the slacks constant. The slacks are provided during an initial loading of the recording material by delaying starting the transport of the recording material in downstream ones of the printing stages for a time after a leading edge of the recording material moves in each of the downstream printing stages until each of the slacks reaches a predetermined amount.
