A grommet () including a body portion () dividing an inside and an outside of a mounting member, an electric wire insertion portion () extending from the body portion () toward the outside of the mounting member and configured to insert an electric wire, a seal portion () provided at an end of the electric wire insertion portion () to be in close contact with an outer circumference of the electric wire, and a protective portion () disposed on the electric wire insertion portion () and configured to extend along the electric wire insertion portion () and to cover an outer circumference of the electric wire exposed from the seal portion ().

Grommet and wire harness using the same

A bus bar including a main body having conductivity and an insulative body covering the main body. The insulative body includes a first member that allows transmission laser light having a predetermined wavelength, a second member that absorbs the laser light, and a welding portion. The first member and the second member are welded to each other at least at a part of a contact portion between the first member and the second member in the welding portion. The main body includes a contact point exposed from the insulative body.

Bus bar and method of manufacturing bus bar

A protective tube attaching method, the protective tube protecting an electric wire of a wire harness, includes inserting the electric wire through a small diameter protective tube and a large diameter protective tube which covers and is shorter than the small diameter protective tube so as to be movable relatively thereto; positioning one end portion of the large diameter protective tube at one reference portion of the wire harness; moving the small diameter protective tube relatively to the large diameter protective tube positioned at the one reference portion, to thereby position the other end portion of the small diameter protective tube at the other reference portion of the wire harness; and fixing the other end portion of the large diameter protective tube in a state that the other end portion of the large diameter protective tube overlaps with an outer circumferential surface of the small diameter protective tube.

Protective tube attaching method

An electric connection box includes: a main body case; and an upper cover which engages with the main body case. The main body case includes a base wall which has an electric component mounting portion; a peripheral wall which is disposed on the base wall and partitions an inside and an outside of the main body case; a main body interior drainage port which is disposed at a place with possibility of water infiltration into an inside of the peripheral wall along a gap portion between the upper cover and the peripheral wall and passes through the base wall; and at least one main body interior drainage wall which is erected on the base wall and extends toward an opening edge of the main body interior drainage port on a surface of the base wall.

Electric connection box

A main body portion of a grommet is mounted to a through hole of a dash panel partitioning an engine room and a vehicle compartment, a long tube is continuously provided to the main body portion, and the tube is arranged at inside of the engine room. A wire harness is inserted to the main body portion and an inner portion of the tube in an unbundled state, under the state, at least two stages of narrowed portions (first, second fixing portions) constituted by narrowing an inner diameter of the tube at a position proximate to a front end of the tube and a position proximate to the main body portion remote from the position. At the narrowed portion, by fastening a strap for fixing to an outer periphery of the tube, the inner diameter of the tube is narrowed. Wires are scattered by providing a bent portion at the wire harness coming out from the grommet.

Wire harness water cut-off structure

An electric junction box including a case, an input bus bar, an output bus bar and a fuse which are accommodated within the case, wherein an input electric wire and an output electric wire are electrically connected to the input bus bar and the output bus bar, respectively, the electric junction box further including an input-side fastening member which fastens an input terminal of the fuse and the input bus bar to the case in such a state that the input terminal is laid to overlap the input bus bar, and an output-side fastening member which fastens an output terminal of the fuse and the output bus bar to the case in such a state that the output terminal is laid to overlap the output bus bar, wherein the input-side fastening member and the output-side fastening member are conductive and are passed through the case, and a connecting terminal of the input electric wire is fastened to the case at a distal end portion of the input-side fastening member which is exposed from the case, and a connecting terminal of the output electric wire is fastened to the case at a distal end portion of the output-side fastening member which is exposed from the case.

Electric junction box

A grommet includes a cylindrical portion that operable to fit on an outer circumference of an electric wire which passes through a trough hole in a panel, a panel fitting portion on which an inner circumferential edge of the through hole in the panel is fitted, and a connecting portion that connects the cylindrical portion and the panel fitting portion. The panel fitting portion includes a seal projection that is brought into press contact with the panel, and a seal protection wall is provided on the panel fitting portion for reducing the influence to the panel fitting portion caused by a flow of injected water from external.

Grommet

For preventing a slack of a wire harness and bending the wire harness more smoothly, a harness holder includes an inner clamp member for supporting the wire harness and an outer clamp member supporting rotatably the inner clamp member. The slack preventing member is formed longer than the harness guide in a harness leading direction. Mounting the harness holder at a vehicle body and disposing a protector for receiving the wire harness at a slide door, the wire harness is wired from the harness holder to the protector. In a partially opened slide door, the slack preventing member supports the wire harness. In a full opened and a completely closed door, the harness guide supports the wire harness.

A locking structure including a case having a bottom plate and a pair of side walls extending upward from both side edges of the bottom plate. The locking structure further includes a cover for closing the opening defined between the top ends of the pair of side walls, stopping projections provided on each side wall of the case, and engaging frames each of which is formed at each side end of the cover and has a window to be engaged with each stopping projection. A portion near the opening of each engaging frame and a portion near the opening of each stopping projection facing that engaging frame defining a space therebetween.
