A rear brake system has a rod extending from a master cylinder that inputs the operational force of a brake pedal to the master cylinder, a coil spring coaxially arranged with the rod and providing reaction force to return the brake pedal to the state before operating the brake pedal, a reaction adjustment mechanism provided on the rod and configured so as to be movable in the axial direction of the rod. According to the position of the reaction adjustment mechanism in the axial direction of the rod, shrinkage of the coil spring in the axial direction of the rod can be adjusted.

Brake system of straddle type vehicle

A steering lock structure for a vehicle with a saddle includes a steering lock mechanism and left and right frame members. The steering lock mechanism is disposed rearwardly with respect to a head pipe to lock and unlock a rotation of a steering system. The left and right frame members extend in a vehicle rearward direction from the head pipe. The steering lock mechanism is disposed between the left and right frame members. The steering lock mechanism is configured to cause a lock pin to carry out a stroke movement along a vehicle upward and downward direction. The steering lock mechanism is configured to cause the lock pin to be brought into and out of engagement with a top bridge of the steering system which is supported on the head pipe. Thereby, locking and unlocking of the rotation of the steering system are allowed.

Steering lock structure for vehicle with saddle

A simply-structured movable step for a motorcycle. A step lifting and lowering mechanism includes a securing plate secured to a body frame with a shift cover attached to the securing plate so as to be movable upwardly and downwardly. A step plate is attached to the shift cover to support a foot-resting step. A lock mechanism is provided for locking the step plate at different height-positions. A gas spring expands and contracts in response to the upward and downward movements of the step plate for smoothly moving the step plate by the gas spring.

To provide an accelerator position sensor arrangement structure for a motorcycle that can prevent an increased vehicle-width without change of operational feeling of a throttle. An accelerator position sensor is connected to a throttle grip via a pair of throttle cables and disposed externally of main frames, of a body frame, extending from a head pipe toward the rearward of a vehicle body.
