A vehicle driving apparatus including a first oil pump driven by an internal combustion engine; a second oil pump connected to a torque transmission portion transmitting a driving force of the second motor generator to a drive wheel; a hydraulic circuit configured so that a lubricating oil is supplied from the second oil pump to a lubrication portion in a first mode in which a vehicle travels while stopping the internal combustion engine, and the lubricating oil is supplied from the first and second oil pumps to the lubrication portion in a second mode in which the vehicle travels while driving the internal combustion engine; a slip detector detecting a slip state of the drive wheel, and a control unit switching to the second mode when the slip state is detected during the first mode.

Vehicle driving apparatus

A torque transmission apparatus including an intermediate member disposed in a power transmission path between a first rotor and second rotor; a first elastic member interposed between the first rotor and the intermediate member; a second elastic member interposed between the intermediate member and the second rotor; and an inertial body connected to the intermediate member through a third elastic member. The third elastic member is placed between the first elastic member and the second elastic member in an axial direction and between the first elastic member and the second elastic member in a radial direction.

Torque transmission apparatus

A torque transmission apparatus including an intermediate member disposed in a power transmission path between a first rotor and second rotor; a first elastic member interposed between the first rotor and the intermediate member; a second elastic member interposed between the intermediate member and the second rotor; an inertial body connected to the intermediate member through a third elastic member; and an elastic member supporter supporting the third elastic member to be expandable and contractible. The elastic member supporter supports the third elastic member in a manner of applying an initial load to the third elastic member, in an initial state of the first and second rotors being non-rotating.

A stator of a torque converter is divided into a first stator on an upstream side and a second stator on a downstream side, and the first and second stators are supported on a fixed part via first and second one-way clutches, respectively. Since, with regard to a blade of the first stator, when viewed in the axis direction, the blade tip part is inclined relative to the blade base part in the disengagement direction of the first one-way clutch, it is possible to ensure the blade area without increasing the dimension in the radial direction and the dimension in the axis direction of the blade of the first stator, and it is possible, by smoothly guiding oil along the blade of the first stator to thus suppress the occurrence of a vortex, to reduce energy loss in a low speed ratio region where the vortex easily occurs.

Stator structure for torque converter

A hydraulic power transmission includes a pump impeller, a turbine impeller, a cover member, a lock-up clutch, an output member, a plurality of primary springs, a plurality of secondary springs, an intermediate member, a first dynamic vibration absorber, and a second dynamic vibration absorber. The intermediate member holds the output member and connects the primary springs and the secondary springs. The first dynamic vibration absorber is attached to the intermediate member and has a first frequency. The first dynamic vibration absorber includes a first mass body and a first damper member. The second dynamic vibration absorber is attached to the intermediate member and has a second frequency different from the first frequency. The second dynamic vibration absorber includes a second mass body and a second damper member.

Hydraulic power transmission

Among first and second stators of a torque converter supported on a fixed part by a one-way clutch corresponding to the stators, the number of second stator blades of the second stator on the downstream side in the direction of flow of oils larger than the number of first blades of the first stator on the upstream side, and the maximum value tfor blade thickness of the second stator blade is smaller than the minimum value tfor blade thickness of the first stator blade. Therefore, it is possible to ensure that there is a sufficient gap (&#x3b2;) between a trailing edge of the first stator blade and a leading of the second stator blade, thus preventing the flow of oil from being stopped by the gap (&#x3b2;), and it is possible to align effectively the flow of oil by means of the second stator blades.
