A connecting structure of a wiper arm includes a connecting shaft provided on a wiper arm and a snap-fit provided on a wiper blade. The snap-fit includes a pair of claws defining a groove that can be engaged with the connecting shaft. A slit defined by inner walls facing each other is provided on both sides of the pair of claws in a longitudinal direction of the wiper blade. A first protrusion protruding toward inside of the slit is provided on one of the inner walls, and a second protrusion protruding toward inside of the slit is provided on the other of the inner walls. The first and second protrusions are arranged offset from each other in a direction along an axial direction of the connecting shaft.

Connecting structure of wiper arm

Base end sides of washer tubesare arranged in an axial direction of a swinging shaft PS at one end portion of an arm head, and they are drawn out from a head side pipe housing portionso as to curve toward a side opposite to a shaft fixing portionside. Each of the washer tubesis wound around the shaft fixing portionduring swinging of the arm headwithout applying any load to the swinging shaft PS. No tension acts on each of the washer tubes, and each of the washer tubesis not rubbed against the shaft fixing portion. Therefore, deterioration of the washer tubescan be suppressed. When the washer tubesare wound around the shaft fixing portion, a periphery of the shaft fixing portionis suppressed from swelling outward in a radial direction thereof. This makes it possible to prevent the arm headaround the swinging shaft PS from increasing in size.

Wiper device

The swing member () to be subjected to swinging drive is integrally provided to the output shaft () outside the speed reducer case (), the speed reducer case () is provided with a pair of swing regulating portions () which prevents the swing member () from being moved beyond the wiping-allowable limit angle (b&#xb0;) by contacting the swing member (). As a result, the swing member () and the swing regulating portions () can collectively form the regulating member (). As a result, essential components (such as fixing plate) can be omitted from the conventional wiper apparatus. Therefore, the wiper apparatus can be improved in assembly workability, size and weight by reducing the number of components thereof, and provided with a regulating member () which prevents the wiper member being moved beyond the wiping-allowable limit angle (b&#xb0;).
