A solenoid device includes: a first electromagnetic coil; first and second plungers movable according to energization to the first electromagnetic coil; first and second fixed cores facing the first and second plungers, respectively; and a yoke. When the first electromagnetic coil is not energized, first and second gaps are formed between the first and second plungers and the first and second fixed cores, respectively. When the first electromagnetic coil is energized, the magnetic flux flows in a first magnetic circuit, provided by the first plunger, the first fixed core and the yoke, via the first gap, and a second magnetic circuit, provided by the first and second plungers, the first and second fixed cores and the yoke, via the first and second gaps, so that the first and second plungers are attracted toward the first and second fixed cores.

Accessory-driving equipment connects an engine having an idle stop system, a motor-generator and an accessory including an air-conditioner compressor that is driven even at a time when the idle stop system is operated. The accessory is driven by the engine when the engine is running and driven by the motor-generator when the idle stop system is operated. The accessory-driving equipment includes a first shaft for connecting to the engine, a second shaft for connecting to the motor-generator, a third shaft for connecting to the accessory, a lock device for locking the third shaft and a clutch. The clutch and the lock device are operated so that a torque transmitted from the engine through the first shaft is distributed to the motor-generator and the accessory, or a torque is transmitted from the motor-generator to the engine.

Accessory-driving equipment for an automotive vehicle

To detect terminal voltages in a battery package including high and low potential groups connected in series, a positive terminal of one battery module in the high potential group outputting the highest potential is connected through a resistor to a junction point connected to a negative terminal of another battery module in the low potential group outputting the lowest potential through another resistor having the same resistance. Other positive and negative terminals of pairs of module battery outputting successive lower voltage potentials in the high potential group and successive higher voltage potentials in the low potential group are connected to junction points through resistors, respectively. Voltages at junction points, differences in voltage potential between the successive two junction points, or differences in potential between the junction points and a middle potential at the junction between the high and low groups is measured. Battery module voltages or variation are calculated.

Voltage detection device for a battery package

Variation of the charged amount among battery blocks composing a battery assembly is detected. By subtracting the detected value of the variation from the width between the upper limit value and the lower limit value of the charged amount, the movable range of the charged amount is found. The position of the present charged amount is detected as the state of charge. For example, it is arranged that both ends of the movable range are 0% and 100%, and that the movable range is the full scale. Then, the position of the charged amount on this scale is specified by the ratio %. The detection of the state of charge in which the variation in charged amount and the change of the movable range are considered, is performed, and on the basis of this state of charge, a preferable charge and discharge control is performed.

Method and device for detecting a state of charge of a battery assembly,

A reduction in the discharge voltage, caused due to a memory effect of a battery, is checked during a discharge operation. An initial discharge characteristic curve, representing an initial relationship between the discharge voltage and the discharge amount of the battery, is parallel shifted so as to coincide with the actual discharge condition, thereby obtaining an estimated discharge characteristic curve in a non-discharged region.
