The present invention relates to a dielectric composition having a main component and an auxiliary component. The main component is represented by (BiNaSrLn)TiO, where Ln comprises a rare earth element 0.100&#x2264;a&#x2264;0.400, 0.100&#x2264;b&#x2264;0.400, 0.100&#x2264;c&#x2264;0.700, 0&#x2264;d&#x2264;0.100, and 0.900&#x2264;a+b+c+d&#x2264;1.50. The auxiliary component contains a first auxiliary component or a second auxiliary component. The first auxiliary component includes an element selected from the group consisting of Li and K and combinations thereof and the second auxiliary component includes an element selected from the group consisting of Cu, Zn, Mn, Mg and Co and combinations thereof.

[Problem] The problem addressed lies in providing a dielectric composition having a relatively high dielectric constant of 900 or greater when a DC bias of at least 8 V/ym is applied, and also in providing a dielectric element employing said dielectric composition, an electronic component, and a laminated electronic component. [Solution] A dielectric composition in which the composition of the main component is in accordance with the following formula (1): (BiNaSr)(ZnTi)03 (1) [where a, b, c and d satisfy the following: 0.09&#x2266;a&#x2266;0.58, 0.09&#x2266;b&#x2266;0.42, 0.05&#x2266;c&#x2266;0.84, 0&#x2266;d&#x2266;0.08, and 0.95&#x2266;a+b+c&#x2266;1.05].

To provide a dielectric ceramic composition having a high dielectric constant, i.e., 3,000 or more, at elevated temperatures at or above 150&#xb0; C. and having a practically sufficient relative dielectric constant at an applied DC electric field of 2 V/&#x3bc;m, and to provide a dielectric device including such a dielectric ceramic composition, a dielectric ceramic composition is a composite oxide represented by formula (1):{[(BiNa)(BiK)Ba]Na}TiNbO&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)where a, b, c, d, s, t, u, v, and x are numbers satisfying the following conditions:
