From this power transmission efficiency, a determination of whether power receiving coilfalls in a range in which batteryis chargeable with respect to power transmitting coilis made.

Contactless electricity supply device

Provided is a non-contact power supply device which detects foreign objects interposed between a power transmission coil and a power receiving coil. This non-contact power supply device is provided with a second coil which contactlessly transmits power to or receives power from a first coil at least by means of magnetic coupling, multiple sensors for detecting position shifts between the first coil and the second coil, a position detection means which, on the basis of the output values of the sensors, detects the relative positions of the first coil and the second coil, and a foreign object detection means which compares the output values of the sensors and from these comparison results detects foreign objects between first coil and the second coil.

Power converter

A motor is basically provided with a rotor and a stator. The stator includes a plurality of stacked magnetic entities, a dielectric material disposed between adjacent ones of the magnetic entities, a positive electrode part provided on at least one of the magnetic entities and a negative electrode part provided on at least one of the magnetic entities that does not have the positive electrode part. The positive electrode part is arranged for connecting to a positive side of an external circuit. The negative electrode part arranged for connecting to a negative side of the external circuit.

Integrated capacitor-type stator

A power conversion apparatus includes a plurality of power modules, a plurality of capacitors and a bus bar. Each of the power modules has a direct current terminal section and an alternating current terminal section. Each of the power modules is configured and arranged to convert a direct current inputted from the direct current terminal section into a respective phase of a multiple-phase alternating current and to output the multiple-phase alternating current to the alternating current terminal section. Each of the capacitors is arranged with respect to a corresponding one of the power modules. The bus bar forms an inter-phase current path between the power modules that are adjacent and forms an intra-phase current path between one of the power modules and a corresponding one of the capacitors such that an impedance of the inter-phase current path is smaller than an impedance of the intra-phase current path.

Each of the legs is operated based on the on/off signal transmitted from corresponding one of the gate signal generators to convert the direct current to each phase of the polyphase alternating current.

In an electric force transmission device employing two motor generators and a differential device having at least three rotating members and having two degrees of freedom, the first rotating member is coupled to the first motor generator, the second rotating member is coupled to the second motor generator, and the third rotating member is coupled to an output shaft and laid out to be located between the first and the second rotating members on an aligmnent chart. A controller (), when switching from a travel mode in which a vehicle travels with an engine clutch (EC) disengaged to a travel mode in which the vehicle travels with the engine clutch (EC) engaged, performs a preparatory speed change to reduce a rotation speed differential in the engine clutch (EC), engages the engine clutch (EC) when the rotation speed differential in the engine clutch (EC) is reduced, and then performs a completion speed change until a speed ratio required in the post-switching travel mode is obtained. The upper limit value of a shifting speed during at least one of the preparatory speed change and the completion speed change is set to a different value to the upper limit value of the shifting speed when a speed change is performed during traveling in the same travel mode.
