A fishing reel cap for mounting on a reel body of a fishing reel includes a bottomed cylindrical cap body and an annular reinforcing member. The bottomed cylindrical cap body has a cylindrical portion with threads capable of being screwed onto threads on the reel body and projections extending radially outward on an outside surface of the cylindrical portion. The annular reinforcing member has recesses, a portion of each projection of the projections being configured to fit into a respective recess of the recesses, and the annular reinforcing member being configured to fit on the outside surface of the cap body, exposing at least a portion of each of the projections in a radially outward direction.

A drag knob includes an operating member and a sounding member. The operating tuber has a cover, an insert, and a bolt serving as a fixing member for fixing the cover to the insert. The operating member is rotatably attached to a reel body. The sounding member produces a percussive sound by rotation of the operating member. The operating member has a knob that extends in a radial direction. The bolt and the sounding member are disposed so as to overlap with the knob when viewed in an axial direction.

A rotor of a spinning reel for fishing has a cylindrical portion, a first rotor arm, a first bail support, a first coupling member, and a first cover. The cylindrical portion is mounted rotatably on a reel body. The first rotor arm extends forward radially outside the cylindrical portion. The first bail support is pivotably rotatable coupled to a tip of the first rotor arm. The first coupling member couples the first bail support to the first rotor arm and has an engaged portion. The first cover covers at least partially the first rotor arm and the first bail support and has an engaging portion that comes into engagement with the engaged portion of the first coupling member.

A spinning reel for casting a fishing line forward includes a reel main body and a lid. The reel main body has an accommodating portion including an accommodating space, an opening located in a side of the accommodating portion, and a cylindrical portion disposed in front of the accommodating portion. The lid has a lid main body for sealing the opening, and a projection projecting forward from the lid main body. The projection overlaps with the cylindrical portion in a side view.

A dual-bearing reel is attachable to a fishing rod and configured to forwardly reel out a fishing line in a forward direction. The dual-bearing reel includes a reel unit, a spool, a handle and an attaching member. The reel unit includes a first main body part and a second main body part. The first main body part includes a first lateral surface, a second lateral surface being opposite to the first lateral surface, and an attachment-side surface. The second main body part includes a third lateral surface facing the first lateral surface at a predetermined interval. The attaching member includes an attaching surface facing a first direction. The first main body part includes a recessed portion extending along a first boundary portion. The first boundary portion is between the attachment-side surface and the first lateral surface. The attachment-side surface faces the first direction.
