A rotation sensor includes a first rotor constituted by a magnetic material and having an outer face that has first conductive layers disposed in two levels as viewed in the direction of a rotation axis and second conductive layers disposed outwardly of and between the first conductive layers, a second rotor having metal members corresponding to the first conductive layers of the first rotor, and a stationary core having a stationary core body that accommodates therein two exciting coils that are spaced from each other in the direction of the rotation axis. The second rotor is disposed between the first rotor mounted to a first shaft and the stationary core fixed to a stationary member, and is mounted to a second shaft which is rotatable relative to the first shaft.

Rotation sensor mounted on a shaft

A rotation sensor including a rotor mounted to a rotating shaft and having a conductive sensing unit which varies in width circumferentially thereof; and stationary cores each having an exciting coil being flown with an alternating exciting current for establishing a magnetic circuit with respect to the rotor and a core body formed of insulative magnetic material for retaining the exciting coil, and being mounted to the fixing member and disposed so as to oppose to the rotor at a distance in the axial direction of the shaft, wherein a core peripheral wall portion is formed in a corresponding area on the core body where the sensing unit project when viewed in the direction orthogonal to the sensing surface of the rotor, and the core peripheral wall portion is not formed in the area which is not corresponding thereto.

Rotation sensor

A rotation-sensored rotary connector includes: a rotary connector for electrically connecting an electrical component installed on a steering to a vehicle-body side; and a rotation sensor for detecting a rotational angle of the steering; wherein the rotation sensor includes a rotor to be directly mounted on a steering shaft, and the rotary connector includes a rotor to be rotated in compliance with the rotor of the rotation sensor, thereby allowing to detect the rotational angle of the steering with an excellent precision.

Rotation-sensored rotary connector

In a rotation sensor including a rotormounted to a rotating shaft S and having a conductive sensing unitwhereof the width varies in the circumferential direction; and stationary coreseach including an exciting coil for forming a magnetic circuit with respect to the sensing unit of the rotor by allowing AC exciting current to flow therein, and a core body formed of magnetic material and retaining the exciting coil, and being mounted to the fixed member and disposed so as to oppose to the sensing unit of the rotor at a distance in the axial direction of the shaft, the stationary cores are disposed at two positions each having a central angle with respect to the axis of the shaft other than substantially 180&#xb0;, so that the rotation sensor which is superior in mountability, is low in cost, and is superior in detection accuracy over a wider range is provided.

A rotation sensor comprising: a stator of the rotation sensor; a rotator arranged around the stator in a rotatable manner relative to the stator, so as to detect a rotated-angle variation of a detection target correspondingly to an overlapped state of the rotator with the stator; and a casing for accommodating the rotator therein; wherein at least a part of an outer peripheral surface of the rotator is slidable relative to an inner surface of the casing for accommodating the rotator and stator therein, so that the rotator is constantly smoothly rotated, to thereby accurately detect the rotated-angle variation of the measurement target.

Rotation sensor and displacement detecting apparatus and method utilizing the same

An electrical connection box with a plurality of housings including those for a dark current provided therein. The fuse housing for a dark current comprises a connecting portion to which a fuse for a dark current is electrically connected, and an accommodating portion in which the fuses for a dark current are accommodated.

Electrical connection box

An electrical connection box has a casing and a cover , which can be securely assembled, regardless of whether a packing is to be interposed therebetween. A female locking element having a hook-shaped locking pawl is formed on an outside surface of a side wall of the casing. The cover is formed with a flexible male locking element , which is V-shaped in its cross-section and which is to be inserted into the female element. The male locking element is provided with locking holes spaced a distance corresponding to the thickness of a watertight packing , and the locking pawl can be inserted into either of the locking holes.

An electrical connection box ( ) is provided with a unit housing ( ) for holding an electrical-part mounted unit ( ) that is selectively attached thereto in accordance with specifications of the connection box, and a dummy connector housing ( ) arranged adjacent to the unit housing. When the unit is not attached to the connection box, a connector ( ) of a wire harness, which connector is employed for connection of the unit, can be fitted to the dummy connector housing. When the unit is attached, a free end of a flexible piece ( ), which is formed integrally with a partition wall arranged at a location where the two housings ( ) are adjoined to each other, is displaced by the unit ( ) into the dummy connector housing to thereby prevent the wire harness connector ( ) from being fitted to the dummy connector housing, and the connector ( ) becomes connectable to the connector of the unit ( ). This arrangement prevents mistaken connection of the wire harness connector in the case of using a sharable wire harness of a type not provided with a tape-insulated connector.

An electrical connection container suitable for mounting in a vehicle etc., provided with a plurality of press-fit terminals provided with engagement projections bent in directions perpendicular to the plane including press-fitting portions, whereby the pitch between the terminal portions may be reduced while securing an insulating distance and therefore the electrical connection container can be made smaller. Wire pressing ribs are provided projecting out from the bottom surface of a subplate so as to press the wires and press-fit them in the press-fitting portions of the press-fitting portions, at which time the wire pressing ribs push the wires riding above the spaces between protective walls into the space between the protective walls and thereby ensure stability of the electrical connection while keeping the wires substantially straight. Further, wires press-fit to the wire press-fit portions of the press-fit terminals are cut for each of the circuits and then laid.
