A rotary electric machine system includes a rotary electric machine unit, a temperature adjustment unit, and a control unit. The rotary electric machine unit includes a rotary electric machine and a temperature detection unit. The rotary electric machine includes a stator core around which a coil is wound, and a rotor having a magnet. The temperature adjustment unit increases the temperature of the stator core. When a rotational speed of the rotary electric machine is in a predetermined high-speed rotation state, in a case in which the temperature detected by the temperature detection unit is less than a predetermined value, the control unit controls the temperature control unit to increase the temperature of the rotary electric machine.

Rotary electric machine system and vehicle

A stator of an electric rotary machine includes a first abutting portion and a second abutting portion. The first abutting portion and the second abutting portion are welded by laser welding in a state where the abutting portions abut against each other, and the first abutting portion and the second abutting portion include bonding surfaces which are bonded to each other. In the axial direction, a height from an insulating cover film to the bonding surface in one abutting portion is greater than a height from an insulating cover film to the bonding surface in the other abutting portion, and in a radial direction, a protruding distance from the insulating cover film to the bonding surface in the one abutting portion is greater than a retraction distance from the insulating cover film to the bonding surface in the other abutting portion.

A stator of a rotary electric machine related to the invention includes: a stator core in which a plurality of slots are formed and an opening part of each of the plurality of slots is provided in an inner circumferential surface thereof; and a coil including a plurality of coil segments that are inserted from the opening part of each of the plurality of slots. At least a first coil segment and a second coil segment are arranged so as to be overlapped in a radial direction in each slot, and an engagement part which prevents a relative movement in an axial direction is provided on overlapping surfaces of the first coil segment and the second coil segment.

A coolant supplied into the ring-shaped cover is to flow through the outer peripheral channel by gravity. The coolant is to flow through the inner peripheral channel by gravity. The radical channels include a first radial channel and a second radial channel. The coolant is to flow from the outer peripheral channel to the inner peripheral channel by gravity through the first radial channel. The coolant is to flow from the inner peripheral channel to the outer peripheral channel by gravity through the second radial channel. The coolant is to flow from the second radical channel by gravity through the outer peripheral channel.

A stator of a rotary electric machine includes a stator core and a coil. The stator core includes slots extending in an axial direction of the stator core and a first axial end surface in the axial direction. The coil is attached to the stator core and includes slot coils disposed in the slots and connection coils. At least one of the slot coils includes a slit in a part positioned in a slot among the slots. The slit extends through the at least one of the slot coils from a first axial end side of the stator core toward a second axial end side of the stator core opposite to the first axial end side in the axial direction. A rotor for a rotary electric machine includes a plurality of magnetic poles in a rotor core, a side barrier as a magnetic air gap, an air gap section as a magnetic air gap. Each of the plurality of magnetic poles includes a magnet insertion hole, a permanent magnet. The side barrier is provided at a portion adjacent to a circumferential end face of the permanent magnet and includes a projection barrier portion projecting radially outwardly from an extension line extending from an outer peripheral surface of the permanent magnet. The air gap section is provided at an area which is spaced apart from the projection barrier portion and the magnet insertion hole and faces a peripheral edge of a circumferentially central side of the magnetic pole with respect to the projection barrier portion and a circumferential end of the outer peripheral surface of the permanent magnet.

The void group includes a first void and a second void row where plural second voids are formed at predetermined intervals at a position further radially outwards than the first void. A rib is formed between a pair of adjacent second voids of the second void row. End portions of the first void respectively overlap the pair of adjacent second voids. An imaginary line that extends along the center of the rib passes through at least part of the first void. A magnetic pole center-side end portion of the void group extends from the outer circumferential surface of the permanent magnet towards an outer circumferential surface of a rotor core.

A rotor includes a rotor core and a plurality of magnetic pole parts. The rotor core has a magnet insertion hole. A stator for an electric rotary machine includes: a stator core having a plurality of slots; and segmented coils of a plurality of phases (for example, coilsin the embodiment), wherein: the segmented coils of a plurality of phases have pluralities of coil bars which are inserted individually in the plurality of slots in the stator core and which extend substantially in a straight line and pluralities of connection coils which connect together the coil bars of the same phase to thereby make up extending portions; the connection coils each comprise an inner connection coil and an outer connection coil which are disposed in different axial positions; and the inner connection coil faces an outer connection coil of a different phase in an axial direction and the outer connection coil faces the inner connection coil of a different phase in the axial direction.

One embodiment provides a stator for an electric rotary machine, the stator including: a stator core having plural slots; segmented coils of plural phases; and a pair of base plates provided at both ends of the stator core, wherein the segmented coils have plural substantially-straight coil bars which are respectively inserted in the slots in the stator core and plural connection coils which are disposed on the base plates so as to connect together the coil bars of the same phase, and wherein the stator core and the coil bars make up a stator core assembly and the base plates and the connection coils make up base plate assemblies, so that the stator is made up of the stator core assembly and the base plate assemblies.
