A process for producing a thermoplastic ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyethylene composition having excellent moldability, which comprises mixing at room temperature to 100.degree. C. an ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyethylene having an average molecular weight of at least 2,000,000 with an amount, effective for acting as a solvent to said polyethylene and improving the flowability of the polyethylene, of a flowability improver selected from the group consisting of (a) styrene, (b) alpha-methylstyrene, (c) chlorinated styrene and (d) a mixture of (a) and (b), wherein the amount of the flowability improver is 3 to 30 parts by weight for styrene and 3 to 30 parts by weight for alpha-methylstyrene and styrene, per 100 parts by weight of the ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyethylene, and optionally admixing at least one member of the group consisting of a pigment, carbon black, a stabilizer, a lubricant and an inorganic filler.

Disclosed are a toner for development of electrostatic image, comprising as the main component a resin obtained by allowing a polymer containing a polymer component with low molecular weight and a polymer component with high molecular weight, at least the polymer component with low molecular weight containing a carboxylic acid component, to react with a polyvalent metal compound, and a method of fixing a toner image employing the toner described above. According to the present invention, there can be provided a toner for development of electrostatic image which has more improved fixability without lowering the anti-off-set property already improved, and also which can be prepared with good reproducibility without causing gelation to occur although the metal compound may be formulated therein, and can be improved in fixability without making charging characteristics unstable and at the same time without bringing about lowering in anti-off-set property, and thus an excellent toner image can be fixed.

A stabilized chlorine-containing resin composition having improved thermal stability comprising a chlorine-containing resin and, as a stabilizer, a melted then solidified mixture having a melting temperature of about 50.degree. to about 180.degree. A chlorine-containing resin composition comprising a chlorine-containing resin and at least one calcium compound selected from the group consisting of 2CaO.SiO.sub.2, 3CaO.SiO.sub.2, 3CaO.2SiO.sub.2, the above enumerated compound(s) having coated thereon an organic silicon compound, CaO.TiO.sub.2, 2CaO.TiO.sub.2, 3CaO.TiO.sub.2, CaO.Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, 2CaO.Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, 3CaO.Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, CaAl.sub.2 O.sub.4, CaB.sub.2 O.sub.6, Ca.sub.7 MgAl.sub.10 O.sub.23, CaNb.sub.2 O.sub.6, CaTa.sub.2 O.sub.6, CaTiO.sub.3, CaZrO.sub.3 and CaZrTi.sub.2 O.sub.7. The chlorine-containing resin composition may further comprise an organic acid salt and/or an organic tin compound.
