An adhesive composition which is the crosslinked product of components which comprise (C) a copolymer of a (meth)acrylic ester having a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000,000 or greater, (D) 5 to 100 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of component (C) of an oligomer of (meth)acrylic esters having a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000 to 10,000 and (E) 0.001 to 50 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of component (C) of a crosslinking component comprising a difunctional crosslinking agent. The adhesive composition exhibits excellent adhesion with adherents, and stress relaxation and follows changes in the dimensions of substrates.

An optical component in combination with an adhesive composition, wherein the adhesive composition comprises (A) a copolymer of a (meth)acrylic ester having a molecular weight of 500,000 to 200,000 and (E) a crosslinking agent comprising an adduct of a polyisocyanate comprising (a) isocyanate difunctional adducts of a diisocyanate with a diol and (b) adducts of a diisocyanate with a polyhydric alcohol, having an isocyanate functionality of three or greater, in a weight ratio of the amounts of (a) to (b) of 95:5 to 10:90. An adhesive sheet and an adhesive optical component comprising a layer of the adhesive composition. The adhesive composition exhibits excellent adhesion with adherents, and stress relaxation and follows changes in the dimensions of substrates.

A pressure sensitive adhesive sheet is described. In addition, a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet that includes a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet and a release sheet that is removably attached to the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet is described. The release sheet comprises a release sheet base and a releasing agent layer provided on the release sheet base. The releasing agent layer is substantially free of silicone compound. The base of the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet and the release sheet base are formed from a plastic film or a lint-free paper, and the count of generated particles having a diameter of 0.1 &mgr;m or more generated from the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet with the release sheet is equal to or less than 100 particles/liter when measured according to Test Method for the Measurement of Particle Generation from Sheet Materials determined by SEMI G67-0996.

Pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet and covered structure

Provided is a hard coat film which has an inorganic hard coat layer having excellent scratch resistance and weatherability and inhibited from generation of curling and which is particularly suited for sticking on outside faces of window glasses in lofty buildings. The hard coat film is prepared by laminating in order a primer layer and a hard coat layer comprising metal oxide particles and a cured matter of a silane compound on one face of a base material and further providing, if necessary, a coating layer having various functions on the above hard coat layer.

Adhesive composition comprising (meth) acrylic esters crosslinked by isocyanate adducts

There is disclosed an antistatic adhesive sheet comprising a plastic substrate film (e.g. PET film), an antistatic layer which is formed on either side thereof and which comprises a quaternary ammonium salt, preferably a high molecular type quaternary ammonium salt, and an adhesive agent layer (e.g. acrylic-based adhesive layer) formed on the antistatic layer, and further at need, a coat layer which is an easy-to-print layer or a scratch resistance coat layer and which is formed on the opposite side of the adhesive agent layer for the plastic substrate film. The antistatic adhesive sheet suppresses the bleed out of an antistatic agent, preserves favorable transparency hardly causing a decrease in light transmissivity, and can suppress the adhesion of dirt, etc. and electrostatic troubles. Accordingly, it is well suited for antistatic purpose of use in the articles required for transparency for a cover sheet.
