A fluid pressure shock absorber includes a piston connected to an end of a piston rod and slidably moving inside a cylinder tube and dividing the cylinder tube into a piston-side chamber and a rod-side chamber, a rod internal space formed inside the piston rod, a first communication passage communicating the rod-side chamber with the rod internal space, a second communication passage formed in the piston and communicating the piston-side chamber with the rod internal space, and a restrictor provided in the second communication passage to apply a resistance to a flow of a working fluid passing through the second communication passage.

Fluid pressure shock absorber

A damper control device controls a damping force of each damper interposed between a vehicle body and a corresponding one of a plurality of vehicle wheels of a vehicle. The damper control device includes: a good wavy road control calculation unit that obtains, for each damper, a good wavy road control instruction suitable for a good wavy road representing a wavy road surface; a bad wavy road control calculation unit that obtains, for each damper, a bad wavy road control instruction suitable for a bad wavy road that has more concavities and convexities than the good wavy road; and a final instruction calculation unit that obtains a final control instruction for each damper based on the good wavy road control instruction and on the bad wavy road control instruction.

Damper control device

A mono-tube type hydraulic shock absorber includes a cylinder, a free piston that partitions the inside of the cylinder into a liquid chamber in which a hydraulic fluid is filled and a gas chamber in which a gas is filled, a piston slidably inserted into the cylinder, the piston partitioning the liquid chamber into two working chambers, a sealing ring provided on an outer periphery of the free piston, the sealing ring being configured to seal between the cylinder and the free piston, and a lubricating oil enclosed within the gas chamber to lubricate between the sealing ring and the cylinder.

A damper control device includes a speed conversion unit configured to convert a damper speed to a control damper speed, and if the damper is accelerating, the damper speed is converted so that signs of the control damper speed and the damper speed accord with each other and an absolute value of the control damper speed becomes an absolute value of the damper speed or more, and if the damper is decelerating, the damper speed is converted so that the signs of the control damper speed and the damper speed accord with each other and the absolute value of the control damper speed becomes the absolute value of the damper speed or less, and a damping force of the damper is controlled by using the control damper speed.

A damper control apparatus damps vibration of an unsprung member by controlling a damping force of a damper in a vehicle, the damper being interposed between a sprung member and the unsprung member. The damper control apparatus includes a vibration level detecting unit that detects a vibration level serving as a magnitude of the vibration of the unsprung member, and a stroke speed detecting unit that detects a stroke speed of the damper. The damper control apparatus further includes a command value calculating unit that determines a control command value, the control command value is a command value for controlling the damping force of the damper on the basis of the vibration level of the unsprung member and the stroke speed of the damper.

Damper control apparatus

A damper control device controls vibration of an unsprung member by controlling a damping force of a damper interposed between a sprung member and the unsprung member of a vehicle on the basis of a damping property prepared in advance. The damper control device includes a correction unit that extracts a sprung resonant frequency component of a stroke velocity of the damper, and corrects a damping force target value of the damper on the basis of the extracted above-spring resonant frequency component.
