A filter device includes a port, a reference potential part, at least one filter, a signal line, a first inductor, and at least one second inductor. A signal is input through the port, and/or a signal is output through the port. The reference potential part is placed at a reference potential. The at least one filter filters a signal. The signal line connects the port to the at least one filter. The first inductor is at least part of the signal line. The second inductor forms a connection between the signal line and the reference potential part. The first inductor and the at least one second inductor are inductively coupled to each other.

A filter includes a ladder filter portion formed on a first piezoelectric substrate; and a multi-mode filter portion connected to the ladder filter portion and formed on a second piezoelectric substrate different from the first piezoelectric substrate. The ladder filter portion and the multi-mode filter portion constitute a single passband.

Acoustic wave filter, multiplexer, and communication apparatus

A SAW filter includes a substrate including a piezoelectric substrate, a transmission filter, and an additional resonator. The transmission filter is a ladder-type filter filtering signals from a transmission terminal and outputting the result to an antenna terminal. Further, the transmission filter includes one or more serial resonators and one or more parallel resonators which are connected in a ladder configuration on the piezoelectric substrate. An initial stage resonator is the serial resonator. The additional resonator includes an IDT electrode on the piezoelectric substrate. The IDT electrode is connected to the transmission terminal at a stage before the transmission filter and is connected to any of the one or more GND terminals. In the additional resonator, a resonance frequency and an antiresonance frequency are located outside of a passband of the transmission filter.

A receiving filter includes a reception terminal which outputs reception signals from an antenna terminal, a second DMS filter configured by a longitudinally coupled double-mode type acoustic wave filter which is located in a signal path from the antenna terminal to the reception terminal, a fourth GND terminal given a reference potential, and a fourth GND wiring connected to the fourth GND terminal and to the second DMS filter. A reception terminal conductor configured by the reception terminal and the reception terminal wiring connected to the reception terminal and A fourth GND conductor configured by the fourth GND terminal and the fourth GND wiring are adjacent and are capacity-coupled with respect to each other.

An SAW device includes a piezoelectric substrate, an IDT electrode on a first major surface of the piezoelectric substrate, a capacitance element which is located on the first major surface and is connected to the IDT electrode, and a cover which is superimposed only on the capacitance element between the IDT electrode and the capacitance element.

Acoustic wave device

An input port, an output port, and a plurality of serial resonators and a plurality of parallel resonators connected in a ladder type between the input port and the output port and including IDT electrodes are provided. The plurality of parallel resonators include at least one first parallel resonator having a resonance frequency lower than resonance frequencies of the plurality of serial resonators, and at least one second parallel resonator having a resonance frequency higher than antiresonance frequencies of the plurality of serial resonators.
