Described herein are methods for producing a hot forged material in air using a Ni-based superalloy for the die. Also described herein are methods for producing a hot forged material, by placing on a lower die a material for hot forging, of which part or all of the surface is coated with a glass-based lubricant, and pressing the material for hot forging with the lower die and an upper die, to form a hot forged material, wherein one or both of the lower die and the upper die are made of a Ni-based superalloy, and wherein the surface of the die in contact with the material for hot forging is coated with a glass-based lubricant containing SiOas a main component, in which the total content of alkali metal oxides is 0 to 10.0% in mass %.

Method for producing hot-forged material

Provided are a Ni-based alloy for hot die having a high high-temperature compressive strength and a good oxidation resistance and being capable of suppressing the deterioration in the working environment and the shape deterioration, and a hot forging die made of the Ni-based alloy for hot die. The Ni-based alloy for hot die comprises, in mass %, W: 7.0 to 15.0%, Mo: 2.5 to 11.0%, Al: 5.0 to 7.5%, Cr: 0.5 to 3.0%, Ta: 0.5 to 7.0%, S: 0.0010% or less, one or two or more selected from rare-earth elements, Y, and Mg in a total amount of 0 to 0.020%, and the balance of Ni with inevitable impurities. In addition to the composition described above, one or two elements selected from Zr and Hf can further be contained in a total amount of 0.5% or less.

Ni-based alloy for hot-working die, and hot-forging die using same

Provided is a method for producing a hot forged material capable of preventing the generation of double-barreling shaped forging defects. The method for producing a hot forged material, wherein both an upper die and a lower die are made of Ni-based super heat-resistant alloy and the method comprises a hot forging step of pressing a material for hot forging by the lower die and the upper die in the air to form the hot forged material, the method comprising: a raw material heating step of heating the material for hot forging in a furnace to a heating temperature within a range of 1025 to 1150&#xb0; C.; a die heating step of heating the upper die and the lower die to a heating temperature within a range of 950 to 1075&#xb0; C.; and a transferring step of transferring the material for hot forging onto the lower die by a manipulator after the completion of the raw material heating step and the die heating step, wherein a value obtained by subtracting the heating temperature of the upper die and the lower die from the heating temperature of the material for hot forging is 75&#xb0; C. or more.

Method for producing hot forged material

Provided is a method for producing a hot forged material capable of preventing the generation of double-barreling shaped forging defects. A method for producing a hot forged material, wherein both an upper die and a lower die are made of Ni-based super heat-resistant alloy, and a material for hot forging is pressed by the lower die and the upper die in the air to form the hot forged material, the method comprising: a raw material heating step of heating the material for hot forging in a furnace to a heating temperature within a range of 1000 to 1150&#xb0; C.; a jig heating step of heating a holding jig for holding the material for hot forging within a temperature range of 50&#xb0; C. lower than and 100&#xb0; C. higher than the heating temperature of the material for hot forging; a die heating step of heating the upper die and the lower die to a heating temperature within a range of 950 to 1100&#xb0; C.; and a transferring step of transferring the material for hot forging onto the lower die by using the holding jig attached to a manipulator after the completion of the raw material heating step, the jig heating step, and the die heating step.

To provide a hot forging die made of a Ni-based superalloy, which is free from any deteriorations in working environment and die shape during hot forging in the air, and also provide a manufacturing process for a forged product using the same and a manufacturing process for a hot forging die. The hot forging die includes: a base body made of a Ni-based superalloy consisting of, by mass, 10.3 to 11.0% of W, 9.0 to 11.0% of Mo, and 5.8 to 6.8% of Al and balance of Ni with inevitable impurities; and a coating layer of inorganic material that is formed on at least one of a forming surface and a side surface of the die and contains 30 mass % or more in total of one or more of Si, Cr, and Al out of Si and metal elements.

Hot forging die and manufacturing process for forged product using the same, and manufacturing process for hot forging die

Provided are: a polymeric IgA-type recombinant antibody; a medicine containing this polymeric IgA-type recombinant antibody as an active ingredient; a method for producing this polymeric IgA type antibody, the method including the step of coexpressing an IgA-type antibody heavy-chain protein, an antibody light-chain protein, an antibody J-chain protein, and a secretory component protein within a single cell; and a method for improving the antigen-binding activity or neutralizing activity of this antibody, the method including the step of making an antibody into a polymeric IgA-type.

Polymeric IgA-type recombinant antibody and use thereof

It has been believed that promoting the assembly of polysomes composed of many ribosomes attached to mRNA is very effective for highly efficient protein synthesis. However, the mechanism for p180 protein's capability of promoting polysome formation has been yet to be elucidated. The inventors of the present application newly discovered SF3b4 protein as a protein that specifically interacts with the coiled-coil domain of p180 protein, a responsible region for its capability of promoting polysome formation, and which is capable of promoting mRNA localization to an endoplasmic reticulum (ER). The inventors also found that, in cells capable of highly expressing both p180 protein and a protein promoting mRNA localization to an endoplasmic reticulum (ER) (e.g., SF3b4 protein), the mRNA localization to the endoplasmic reticulum can be significantly elevated so that the secretory capacity in cultured cells can be enhanced. Further, the inventors demonstrated that when a particular nucleotide sequence is inserted into an expression plasmid, SF3b4 protein exhibiting protein expression enhancing ability can be localized onto the endoplasmic reticulum membrane, and the mRNA distribution in polysomes can be shifted towards heavier fractions, whereby the secretory capacity in cells can be enhanced.

Method for producing protein

Provided is a carbon tool steel strip suitable for use in various spring materials, valve materials, and the like, in which press punching properties and fatigue characteristics are enhanced. A carbon tool steel strip having a thickness of 1 mm or less and a carbon tool steel composition containing 0.8-1.2% C by mass %, wherein the carbon tool steel strip has a Vickers hardness of 500-650 (Hv), and when a cross-section at the center in the sheet thickness direction of the carbon tool steel strip is viewed with the plane of observation in a direction at a right angle to a rolled surface of the carbon tool steel strip and in the length direction of the carbon tool steel strip, the area ratio of carbides having an equivalent circle diameter of at least 0.5 &#x3bc;m among the carbides present in the metallographic structure is 0.50-4.30%.

Method of producing a carbon tool steel strip

A method of producing a Ni-based super heat-resistant alloy in which a hot working material is subjected to hot working with a mold is provided. The hot working material consists of, in mass%, 0.001 to 0.050% of C, 1.0% to 4.0% of Al, 3.0% to 7.0% of Ti, 12% to 18% of Cr, 12% to 30% of Co, 1.5% to 5.5% of Mo, 0.5% to 2.5% of W, 0.001% to 0.050% of B, 0.001% to 0.100% of Zr, 0% to 0.01% of Mg, 0% to 5% of Fe, 0% to 3% of Ta, 0% to 3% of Nb, and the remainder of Ni and impurities. The method includes: heating and holding the hot working material in a temperature range of 950&#xb0; C. to 1150&#xb0; C. for 1 hour or longer; and performing hot working on the material with the mold that is heated to a temperature range of 800&#xb0; C. to 1150&#xb0; C.

Method of producing Ni-based superalloy

A method for manufacturing a Ni-based super-heat-resistant alloy includes: a first cold working step for cold working a Ni-based super-heat-resistant alloy ingot, which has a composition in which the &#x3b3;' mole ratio is at least 40%, at a working ratio of 5% to less than 30%; and a first heat treatment step for heat-treating the cold worked material, on which the first cold working was performed, at a temperature exceeding the &#x3b3;&#x2032; solid solution temperature. It is preferable that the manufacturing method also includes a second cold working step for performing, after the first heat treatment step, a second cold working on the heat-treated material at a working ratio of at least 20%, and a second heat treatment step for heat-treating the second cold worked material, on which the second cold working has been performed, at less than the &#x3b3;&#x2032; solvus temperature.

Method for manufacturing Ni-based super-heat-resistant alloy

The present invention provides a steel strip for cutlery, which has a composition containing, in mass %, 0.45 to 0.55% of C, 0.2 to 1.0% of Si, 0.2 to 1.0% of Mn, and 12 to 14% of Cr, and further contains Mo, with the balance made up of Fe and unavoidable impurities, in which Mo is contained in an amount of 2.1 to 2.8%, and the amount of formed MC deposited by tempering is decreased to improve bending workability.

Steel strip for cutlery

A method of producing a Ni-based superalloy is provided. A hot working material is used and consisting of a specific composition and has a solvus temperature of a &#x3b3;' phase of 1050&#xb0; C. or more. The method includes: performing heating in a temperature of 980&#xb0; C. to 1050&#xb0; C. with an upper limit of &#x2212;30&#xb0; C. from the solvus temperature of the &#x3b3;&#x2032; phase, for 10 hours or longer; and performing hot working on the material at a working speed of a strain rate of 2.0/second or more in the above temperature range.

The present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a martensite-based precipitation strengthening stainless steel, which effectively enables crystal grains to become finer by improving a solution treatment method. The method for manufacturing a martensite-based precipitation strengthening stainless steel containing 0.01 to 0.05 mass % of C, 0.2 mass % or less of Si, 0.4 mass % or less of Mn, 7.5 to 11.0 mass % of Ni, 10.5 to 14.5 mass % of Cr, 1.75 to 2.50 mass % of Mo, 0.9 to 2.0 mass % of Al, less than 0.2 mass % of Ti, and Fe and impurities as a remainder, which is provided by the present invention, includes performing a solid solution treatment at 845 to 895&#xb0; C. once or more.

Method for manufacturing martensite-based precipitation strengthening stainless steel

There is provided a method of manufacturing an Ni-base superalloy which enables a uniform coat of a glass lubricant to be maintained even after heated to hot forging temperature. The method of manufacturing an Ni-base superalloy in which a forging stock containing an Ni-base superalloy, coated with a lubricant, is subjected to hot forging includes: a preliminary oxidation step of previously generating a Cr oxide coating film having a film thickness of 0.5 to 50 &#x3bc;m on the forging stock thereby to obtain a preliminarily oxidized material; a lubricant coating step of coating the preliminarily oxidized material with a glass lubricant containing borosilicate glass as a main component thereby to obtain a material to be forged; and a hot forging step of hot forging the material to be forged thereby to obtain a hot forged material.
