A latex of a highly saturated nitrile rubber wherein the highly saturated nitrile rubber contains &#x3b1;,&#x3b2;-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units in a ratio of 10 to 60 wt %, has an iodine value of 120 or less, and has a weight average molecular weight of solubles in chloroform of 100,000 or less, and when removing volatiles contained in the latex and making a film of the highly saturated nitrile rubber, a loss tangent tan &#x3b4;at 50&#xb0; C. of the film is 0.3 to 0.6 and a complex torque S* at the time of 100% shear strain at 100&#xb0; C. of the film is 20 dNm or less, and an adhesive composition containing the latex are provided.

According to the present invention, a nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber composition which can give cross-linked rubber which is extremely high in tensile stress and is excellent in low heat buildup property and has good workability can be provided.

A nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber composition includes a nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber (A) having &#x3b1;,&#x3b2;-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units and (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer units and having an iodine value of 120 or less and a polyether ester-based plasticizer (B) having structural unit made of three or more ether compounds which are successively bonded. A nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber composition excellent in vulcanization speed and giving cross-linked rubber has excellent heat resistance and cold resistance.

A cross-linkable nitrile rubber composition including a highly saturated nitrile rubber (A) containing &#x3b1;,&#x3b2;-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units in a ratio of 10 to 60 wt % and having an iodine value of 120 or less, a master batch (B) containing an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (b1) having a melt flow rate measured under a load of 21.18N at 190&#xb0; C. of 0.5 to 1000 g/10 min. and containing vinyl acetate monomer units in a ratio of 5 to 50 wt % and an organic staple fiber (b2) having an average fiber length of 0.1 to 12 mm, and a cross-linking agent (C), wherein a ratio of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (b1) and the organic staple fiber (b2) in the master batch (B) is, in terms of a weight ratio of 'ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (b1):organic staple fiber (b2)', 30:70 to 80:20 is provided.

Cross-linkable nitrile rubber composition and cross-linked rubber

A dip-molding composition of the present invention contains a latex (A) of a nitrile-group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber (a). The nitrile-group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber (a) contains an &#x3b1;,&#x3b2;-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer unit and a conjugated diene monomer unit, and being obtained by hydrogenating at least part of the conjugated diene monomer unit. A dip-molded article of the present invention is produced by dip molding of the above dip-molding composition.

A highly saturated nitrile rubber composition containing a carboxyl group-containing highly saturated nitrile rubber (A1) which contains &#x3b1;,&#x3b2;-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units 15 to 60 wt % and &#x3b1;,&#x3b2;-ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monoester monomer units 1 to 60 wt % and has an iodine value of 120 or less, a highly saturated nitrile rubber (A2) which contains &#x3b1;,&#x3b2;-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units 15 to 60 wt %, has a content of the &#x3b1;,&#x3b2;-ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monoester monomer units of 0.9 wt % or less, and has an iodine value of 120 or less, and a polyamide resin (B), a content ratio of the carboxyl group-containing highly saturated nitrile rubber (A1) and the highly saturated nitrile rubber (A2) being a weight ratio of 'carboxyl group-containing highly saturated nitrile rubber (A1):highly saturated nitrile rubber (A2)' of 2:98 to 98:2, is provided.

Highly saturated nitrile rubber composition and cross-linked rubber

A rubber obtained by cross-linking a highly saturated nitrile rubber composition has a carboxyl group-containing highly saturated nitrile rubber (A1) containing 15 to 60 wt % of &#x3b1;,&#x3b2;-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units and 1 to 60 wt % of &#x3b1;,&#x3b2;-ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monoester monomer units and having an iodine value &#x2264;120, a highly saturated nitrile rubber (A2) containing &#x3b1;,&#x3b2;-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units in 15 to 60 wt %, having a content of &#x3b1;,&#x3b2;-ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monoester monomer units of 0.9 wt % or less, and an iodine value of 120 or less, a polyamide resin having a melting point &#x2265;150&#xb0; C., and a cross-linking agent. In the composition, a weight ratio of '(A1):(A2)' is 5:95 to 95:5 in range, a weight ratio of 'total of (A1) and (A2):polyamide resin' is 95:5 to 50:50, and a storage elastic modulus of the cross-linked rubber at 150&#xb0; C. is 5 MPa or more.

Provided are a reinforcing cord using a reinforcing fiber treating agent for improving the performance, particularly oil resistance, of rubber products, and a highly oil-resistant rubber product. By using a reinforcing fiber treating agent that has an &#x3b1;,&#x3b2;-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer unit content of 30-55 wt %, an acid group-containing &#x3b1;,&#x3b2;-ethylenically unsaturated monomer unit content of 3-20 wt %, an iodine value of 120 or less and a tetrahydrofuran insoluble fraction of 30 wt % or more, the oil resistance of the reinforcing cord and thus the oil resistance of rubber products using the reinforcing cord are improved.
