Object: To provide a resin composition having excellent oxygen barrier properties and transparency, and high tensile elongation at break; a molded article, a film, and a multilayer film. Resolution means: A resin composition including from 20 to 80 parts by mass of a polyamide resin (A) and from 80 to 20 parts by mass of a polyamide resin (B); wherein more than 35 mol % of all the constituent units of the polyamide resin (A) are constituent units including an alkylene chain having from 2 to 6 carbons; the polyamide resin (B) includes constituent units derived from a diamine and constituent units derived from a dicarboxylic acid, wherein 70 mol % or more of the constituent units derived from a diamine are derived from a xylylenediamine; from 30 to 70 mol % of the constituent units derived from a dicarboxylic acid are derived from an &#x3b1;,&#x3c9;-linear aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having from 4 to 8 carbons; from 70 to 30 mol % of the constituent units derived from a dicarboxylic acid are derived from isophthalic acid, with the proviso that the total does not exceed 100 mol %; and the polyamide resin (B) further includes phosphorus atoms in a ratio of 3 to 300 mass ppm, and calcium atoms so as to be the ratio that phosphorus atoms:calcium atoms of 1:0.3 to 0.7.

Provided is an amorphous polyamide resin that has a small weight change rate under hot and humid conditions and that can maintain a good appearance even when formed into a molded article and placed under hot and humid conditions. Also provided is a molded article including the amorphous polyamide resin. An amorphous polyamide resin includes: constituent units derived from a diamine and constituent units derived from a dicarboxylic acid, not less than 70 mol % of the constituent units derived from a diamine being constituent units derived from isophoronediamine, the constituent units derived from a dicarboxylic acid including constituent units derived from an &#x3b1;,&#x3c9;-straight chain aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having from 8 to 14 carbons and constituent units derived from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid.

Provide is a polyamide resin that can yield a molded article with good appearance and good solder reflowability, while keeping low water absorption rate; a molded article; and a method for manufacturing a polyamide resin. The polyamide resin, which is composed of a structural unit derived from diamine and a structural unit derived from dicarboxylic acid; 70 mol % or more of the structural unit derived from diamine being derived from 1,4-bis(aminomethyl)cyclohexane, 1,4-bis(aminomethyl)cyclohexane having a molar ratio (cis:trans) of 35:65 to 0:100, 70 mol % or more of the structural unit derived from dicarboxylic acid being derived from a straight chain aliphatic &#x3b1;,&#x3c9;-dicarboxylic acid having 8 to 12 carbon atoms, the polyamide resin containing 20 to 100 ppm by mass of phosphorus atom, and containing calcium atom so that the molar ratio given by (phosphorus atom):(calcium atom) will be 1:0.3 to 0.7.

Polyamide resin, molded article, and method for manufacturing polyamide resin

An object of the present invention is to provide an injection blow container that is excellent in moldability and impact resistance and furthermore, excellent in solvent resistance. The injection blow-molded container of the present invention comprises 60 to 95 parts by mass of a polyamide resin (A) and 5 to 40 parts by mass of a polyamide resin (B) (per 100 parts by mass in total of the polyamide resin (A) and the polyamide resin (B)), wherein the polyamide resin (A) comprises a diamine-derived constitutional unit and a dicarboxylic acid-derived constitutional unit, wherein 70 mol % or more of the diamine-derived constitutional unit is a constitutional unit derived from xylylenediamine, 70 mol % or more of the dicarboxylic acid-derived constitutional unit is a constitutional unit derived from &#x3b1;,&#x3c9;-linear aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 4 to 12 carbon atoms, and 30 mol % or less thereof is a constitutional unit derived from isophthalic acid; and the polyamide resin (B) comprises no constitutional unit derived from xylylenediamine, and is a polyamide resin having an alkylene group having 5 to 12 carbon atoms.

An object of the present invention is to provide a multilayer container in which yellowing of a regenerated polyester resin at the time of recycle is suppressed and a method for producing the same as well as a method for producing a single-layer container. Furthermore, another object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a regenerated polyester resin from the foregoing multilayer container and single-layer container. The multilayer container of the present invention includes at least one polyester resin composition layer containing a polyester resin (X) and an amino group-containing compound (A) having a yellowing-suppressing ability; and at least one polyamide resin layer containing a polyamide resin (Y).

Provided is a polyester-based resin composition capable of giving a molded article excellent in transparency and gas-barrier property even though the molded article requires stretching treatment, and also provided is a method for producing the composition. Provided is a method for manufacturing a formed article that excels in shape retainability and appearance, using a sheet that contains a thermoplastic resin fiber and a continuous reinforcing fiber. The method for manufacturing a formed article comprises irradiating laser light onto a sheet having, arranged therein with a certain directionality, yarns that contain a thermoplastic resin fiber and a continuous reinforcing fiber, so as to allow at least a part of the thermoplastic resin fiber to be impregnated into the continuous reinforcing fiber; the laser light being irradiated so as to satisfy at least one of A or B below, over at least 70% or more of the laser irradiation area; A: irradiated in a direction 5 to 85&#xb0; away from the direction of arrangement of yarns in the in-plane direction of the sheet; and B: irradiated in a direction 30 to 60&#xb0; away from the direction perpendicular to the sheet plane.

A molded article comprising a fuel-barrier layer formed of a resin composition comprising a polyamide resin (A) as a continuous phase and a resin (B) as a disperse phase, wherein (A) is a polyamide resin (A1) comprising at least one of a constituent unit derived from a lactam having 10 to 12 carbon atoms and a constituent unit derived from an aminocarboxylic acid having 10 to 12 carbon atoms, or a polyamide resin (A2) comprising a constituent unit derived from an aliphatic diamine having 6 to 12 carbon atoms and a constituent unit derived from an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 10 to 12 carbon atoms, the (B) is a resin selected from a semi-aromatic polyamide resin, the ratio by volume of (A)/(B) is 95/5 to 51/49, and the mean disperse particle diameter of (B) is 150 nm or more.
