One aspect of the disclosure relates to a sliding member. The sliding member includes: a first sliding portion having a first lubricant placed between first parts of a first friction sliding mechanism; and a second sliding portion having a second lubricant placed between second parts of a second friction sliding mechanism. The first sliding portion has a lubricant feed port from which the first lubricant is fed, and the second sliding portion has no lubricant feed port from which the second lubricant is fed. The first lubricant contains base oil and an additive. The second lubricant contains base oil and an additive containing conductive carbon. The second lubricant contains a relatively larger amount of conductive carbon than the first lubricant.

Sliding member

The present disclosure relates to an automotive slide member including a first slide portion having a first lubricant applied between first portions of a first friction slide mechanism, and a second slide portion having a second lubricant applied between second portions of a second friction slide mechanism. The first slide portion is arranged at a part to be touched by an operator who attaches the automotive slide member to an automobile or a user of the automobile. The second slide portion is arranged at a part that is not touched by the operator who attaches the automotive slide member to the automobile or the user of the automobile. The second lubricant contains a relatively larger amount of conductive carbon than that of the first lubricant.

One aspect of the disclosure relates to a sliding member. The sliding member includes: a first sliding portion having a first lubricant placed between first parts of a first friction sliding mechanism; a second sliding portion having a second lubricant placed between second parts of a second friction sliding mechanism; and a third sliding portion having a third lubricant placed between third parts of a third friction sliding mechanism. The first sliding portion is in contact with the third lubricant, and the second sliding portion is not in contact with the third lubricant. The second lubricant contains an additive containing conductive carbon, and the third lubricant contains no conductive carbon. The second lubricant contains a relatively larger amount of the conductive carbon than the first lubricant.

Provided is a grease composition including a thickener and a base oil, in which the thickener is a urea compound represented by formula (1)R1-NHCONH&#x2014;R2-NHCONH&#x2014;R3&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)wherein R2 represents a divalent Caromatic hydrocarbon group, and R1 and R3 may be the same or different and each represent an Calkyl group, a cyclohexyl group, or an Caryl group, and as the base oil, one or more types of a compound represented by formula (2) are contained at 40% by mass or more relative to a total mass of the base oil, wherein R4 and R5 may be the same or different and each represent a linear or branched Calkyl group, where m and n are real numbers being 0 or more which satisfy m+n=2.

Grease composition

The invention provides a grease composition containing a base oil, a thickener, and an anti-flaking additive such as a compound represented by, for example, formula (1-1), which grease composition can prevent the white layer flaking of the rolling bearings. (In the formula, R1 and R4 are each independently a straight-chain or branched alkyl or alkenyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms.)
