A coating film capable of being peeled off in the shape of sheet to facilitate a coating film removal work, and is less likely to peel even after long periods of use on an underwater structure is provided. The coating film comprises an undercoat layer to be bonded to an underwater structure, and an antifouling layer bonded to the undercoat layer, wherein: a 100-gram underwater constant load peeling degree of the coating film is less than 5; a ratio of a tensile breaking strength of the coating film to an adhesive force of the coating film with respect to the underwater structure, as measured after immersing the coating film in pure water at 60° C. for 5 weeks is 1.5 or more; and a 1-mm square cross-cut stretching-caused peeling degree of the antifouling layer with respect to the undercoat layer is 0.05 or less.

As a conventional antifouling measure to prevent adherence of aquatic organisms to a submersible sensor unit, a grease containing a stimulant, such as mustard, capable of repelling aquatic organisms is applied onto a sensing part thereof, thereby preventing adherence of the aquatic organisms. However, the irritant-containing grease applied onto the sensing part will come off within one to two months, resulting in disappearance of its effect. Thus, it is necessary to perform work of pulling up the submersible sensor unit and re-applying the grease, in each case. The present invention provides a water flow resistant submersible sensor unit which comprises an aquatic organism adherence preventive film capable of preventing adherence of aquatic organisms even when used in the submersible sensor unit for about half a year, almost without involving any underwater movement, and capable of, after use, being easily peeled off from the submersible sensor unit.

The present invention provides a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape for preventing adhesion of aquatic organisms, which includes an antifouling layer, a base material layer and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in this order, which has the base material layer composed of an inexpensive material, and which has high adhesion between the antifouling layer and the base material layer without performing the easy adhesion treatment, for example, a primer treatment or a corona treatment. A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape for preventing adhesion of aquatic organisms of the present invention comprises an antifouling layer, a base material layer and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in this order, wherein the base material layer contains an ionomer resin.

The present invention provides an anti-fouling pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet and anti-fouling treatment method capable of preventing peeling from overlapping portions when adjacent anti-fouling pressure-sensitive adhesive sheets are attached by allowing end portions thereof to overlap each other. The anti-fouling pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention includes a base material layer; a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer provided on one side of the base material layer; and an anti-fouling layer provided on another side of the base material layer, wherein the anti-fouling pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet has, at an end portion thereof, a bonding margin including parts of the base material layer and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, the parts extending beyond the anti-fouling layer.

A pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet contains at least a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive containing an acrylic polymer composition containing an acrylic polymer as a main component and a tackifier containing a tackifying resin as a main component, wherein reflection rate and attached amount in the fogging test in accordance with German Industrial Standard DIN 75201 are 70% or more and 2.0 mg or less, respectively. In the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive which forms the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, a ratio of components having a molecular weight of 300 or less is preferably 4.2% by weight or less based on the total amount of solid matter of the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. Furthermore, in the tackifying resin in the tackifier, a ratio of components having a molecular weight of 300 or less is suitably 4.2% by weight or less based on the total amount of solid matter of the tackifying resin.

Pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet

A pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet has a high adhesiveness and an excellent terminal peeling resistance as well as exhibits extremely small diffusing amounts of formaldehyde and toluene. The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet contains at least a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of a water-dispersion type acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive containing a water-dispersion type acrylic polymer and a tackifying resin-containing emulsion, wherein a diffusing amount of formaldehyde is less than 3 &#x3bc;g/mand a diffusing amount of toluene is 10 &#x3bc;g/g or less. As the tackifying resin-containing emulsion, a tackifying resin-containing emulsion prepared using substantially no organic solvents or a tackifying resin-containing emulsion prepared using a material other than aromatic hydrocarbon-based organic solvents can be suitably employed.

The present invention provides a medical adhesive containing a water-dispersed copolymer obtained by copolymerizing 100 parts by weight of a monomer mixture containing (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester and 0.005-2 parts by weight of a silane monomer copolymerizable with the ester, and an organic liquid component compatible with the copolymer; a medical adhesive containing a water-dispersed copolymer obtained by copolymerizing a monomer mixture containing (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester and a silane monomer copolymerizable with the ester, and an organic liquid component compatible with the copolymer, wherein the gel fraction after crosslinking of the copolymer is 40-80 wt %, and the weight average molecular weight of a sol component after crosslinking is not less than 300000; and a medical adhesive tape or sheet having the medical adhesive at least on one surface of a support.
