A device comprising a flexible printed circuit strip is disclosed. The flexible printed circuit strip comprises a plurality of first sections connected to a plurality of second sections. The plurality of first sections are bendable in at least a first axis relative to the plurality of second sections. The plurality of first sections comprise a connector to house at least one light emitting element. The plurality of second sections comprises a protrusion with an opening between two adjacent second sections such that the protrusion is bendable in at least two axes. The plurality of second sections comprise a connector to connect an electrical power supply.

Lighting strip and lighting device

A lighting assembly is disclosed which includes a leadframe and at least one light-emitting diode (LED) element arranged on the leadframe. At least a portion of the leadframe is covered with a polyurethane coating arranged to electrically insulate the portion of the leadframe, and at least a portion of the polyurethane covered portion of the leadframe is further covered with a thermally conductive material. A method for manufacturing the lighting assembly is also disclosed.

A lighting strip comprises a flexible printed circuit strip. The flexible printed circuit strip comprises a plurality of wiring portions and a plurality of carrying portions. The plurality of wiring portions are configured to supply electrical power to the plurality of carrying portions. The lighting strip comprises a plurality of solid-state lighting elements respectively disposed on the plurality of carrying portions. The plurality of wiring portions include at least one pitch adjusting portion configured to adjust a pitch between two adjacent carrying portions and to enable the flexible printed circuit strip to be arranged in a three-dimensional shape.

Crimping of an LED leadframe to a subassembly may stress the leadframe. Flat leadframes cannot accommodate these stresses. Strain relief sections are added to the leadframe to accommodate crimping or other stresses on the leadframe. Strain relief sections are created in the leadframe in the form of openings, notches or bulges. The strain relief sections may be symmetric or asymmetric.

A light coupling and distribution system includes a plurality of light sources are used to generate light. The lighting system further has an optical fiber and a light coupler optically coupling the light sources to the fiber. The light coupler has a body and a plurality of lenslets corresponding to a respective light source. Each lenslet directs light through the body to the optical fiber.

The portion (18) of the parabolic reflective face includes a first curved surface having a small curvature, corresponding to that portion of a vehicle front glass (2) which has a large curvature, and a second curved surface having a large curvature, corresponding t that portion of the vehicle front glass (2) which has a small curvature, so that distortion of the image information due to difference in curvature of the vehicle front glass (2) is corrected and a height-wise positional displacement of a double image, which may occur when the image information is looked through a pair of eyes (10) and (11) of a person riding on the motor vehicle, is corrected.

Apparatus for head up display comprising a parabolic reflective mirror

A laser-radar type distance measuring equipment for a motor vehicle is shown, which comprises a probe unit including a laser emitting device and a reflected laser receiving device. The probe unit is mounted on the vehicle body. A steering angle sensor is used for producing an information signal representative of the steered angle of the vehicle. A so-called performance changing device is employed for changing the performance of the probe unit. A control unit controls the performance changing device in accordance with the information signal issued from the steering angle sensor.
