According to an embodiment, system includes transmitter, pump, controller, tank and thermal storage. Pump circulates water through the transmitter. Controller drives the pump, circulates the water while the transmitter is operating, and stops the circulation of the water at a time of a stop of the transmitter. Tank stores the water circulated through the transmitter, and supplies the water to the pump. Thermal storage is provided on a surface of the tank, and stores waste heat of the exothermic part of the transmitter, which was taken in the water via the tank. Thermal storage changes in phase if a temperature of the water in the tank lowers to a predetermined temperature or below, and heats the water by latent heat which occurs.

Transmission system

According to one embodiment, a heat transport apparatus includes an evaporator, a cooling unit, a channel structure, and a heating mechanism. The evaporator vaporizes a refrigerant by heat generated by a heat-generating element. The cooling unit is provided above the evaporator and cools and condenses the refrigerant vaporized in the evaporator. The channel structure constitutes a channel through which the refrigerant circulates between the evaporator and the cooling unit. The heating mechanism heats the cooling unit and suppresses solidification of the refrigerant at the cooling unit.

Heat transport apparatus

According to one embodiment, a vehicle-use storage battery system includes a storage battery, a main circuit, a circuit breaker, a storage battery management unit, a first determiner, and a second determiner. The main circuit is electrically connected to the storage battery. The circuit breaker is disposed between the storage battery and the main circuit to make or break the electrical connection therebetween. The storage battery management unit manages an operating state of the storage battery. The first determiner determines whether to break the electrical connection between the storage battery and the main circuit by means of the circuit breaker. The second determiner determines, on the basis of at least one of operating states of the storage battery management unit, the first determiner, and the circuit breaker, whether to break the electrical connection between the storage battery and the main circuit by means of the circuit breaker.

Vehicle-use storage battery system

According to one embodiment, a vehicular storage battery device includes a housing, battery boxes, and a common cooling passage. The battery boxes are disposed in the housing. Each of the battery boxes houses an electric cell as a vehicle power source and includes a heat transporting part transporting heat generated in the battery box to outside of the battery box. The common cooling passage is disposed in the housing. The common cooling passage is provided with an inlet for taking in a fluid and an outlet for discharging the fluid having passed through the passage. The inlet and the outlet are open in a direction different from a traveling direction of the vehicle. The heat transporting part of each of the battery boxes is exposed to inside of the passage.

Each of the plurality of battery heat radiation units includes, a battery module, at least one heat pipe thermally connected at a first end of the heat pipe to one surface of the battery module and protruding from the battery module at a second end of the heat pipe, at least one metal heat exchanger plate thermally connected to one surface of the battery module, and at least one heat radiation portion provided at the second end of the heat pipe, the air blowing portion blows air to the heat radiation portion, and one heat radiation portion in the plurality of battery heat radiation units is misaligned with other heat radiation portions in the plurality of battery heat radiation units as viewed from the air blowing portion side.

According to one embodiment, a lighting device includes a hollow main body having thermal conductivity, a light source having at least a semiconductor light-emitting element, an accessory element, and an adiabatic member. The light source is thermally coupled to the main body. The accessory element has an allowable temperature limit different from that of the light source, and is accommodated in the main body. The adiabatic member divides the main body into a first region thermally coupled to the light source, and at least a second region thermally coupled to the accessory element and thermally isolated from the first region.
