An ensemble system enabling easy, flexible assignment of performance parts to the facilitator and the performers. In 'setting' field, performance terminals (facilitator and piano (to)) are displayed. A pull-down menu for selecting presence/absence of each performance terminal and radio buttons for assigning performance parts are displayed. According to the presence/absence of each student, the selection of a presence/absence menu is inputted. When song title data is selected, a controller () reads a part assignment table of the song data and assigns a performance part to each performance terminal for which presence is selected. A performance part can be manually assigned to each performance terminal.

Ensemble system

An electronic musical instrument is provided, which makes it possible to manage a state of attendance (presence/absence, etc.) of participants and perform easy management on the level of activity on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. According to performance operations on performance terminals, a controllerrecords a performance history. Performance terminalsto which performance parts have been assigned by a Facilitator are determined as being present, whereas performance terminalto which no performance parts have been assigned are determined as being absent. The number of times of key depression on each performance terminal, the average key depression intensity (average Velocity), etc. from start to end of a performance are recorded. The recorded values for respective items are output in the form of text data. Since values for the respective item are recorded at every performance, the frequency of attendance of respective users can easily be managed on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

An ensemble system enabling even performer unskilled in playing a musical instrument to easily grasp the difference in tempo from the performance of the facilitator. The circle corresponding to the performance terminal 'Facilitator' is indicated fixedly on the center line of the vertical lines. The circle corresponding to the performance terminal (for example, piano ()) of each user moves horizontally correspondingly to the difference from the performance terminal 'Facilitator'. If the press of a key of performance terminal lags behind that of the performance terminal &#x201c;Facilitator&#x201d; by one bar, the circle moves left onto the vertical line next to the vertical center line. If the press of a key of the performance terminal lags behind that of the performance terminal &#x201c;Facilitator&#x201d; by half the bar (two beats), the circle moves left by half the interval between the vertical lines from the vertical center line. If the press of a key of the performance terminal leads that of the performance terminal &#x201c;Facilitator&#x201d;, the circle moves right (FIG.).

A performance control apparatus that prevents erroneous key depressions from disturbing musical performance and allow an inexperience player to play at ease. A performance operator is adapted to generate performance operation information in response to performance operations by a user, the performance operation information including information indicative of performing timing in automatic performance. A storage device is adapted to store data of a music piece comprising sequence data of note information for individual musical tones. A performance control device is adapted to, each time the performance operation information is generated, calculate tempo of automatic performance on the basis of the difference in generation time between the present performance operation information and the previous performance operation information, and to read out the data of the music piece from the storage device with the tempo; wherein the performance control device is adapted to exclude currently the present performance operation information from calculation of the tempo if the difference in generation time is less than a predetermined threshold.

Performance control apparatus and program therefor

Main speakers are arranged on the enclosure front surface of an electronic piano. Auxiliary speakers (L,R) are arranged on the rear surface of the enclosure. Microphones are arranged in close proximity of the main speakers. A performance sound is regenerated from the main speakers. The regenerated sound from the main speakers is picked up by microphones (L,R). FIR filters are used to generate the reflected signal of a picked-up sound signal from the microphones. The generated reflected sound signal is regenerated from auxiliary speakers.

Electronic musical instrument

On a casing of an electronic keyboard instrument, there are provided front speakers, rear speakers and upper speakers as non-front speakers, a woofer speaker, and a vibrator. Tone generator section generates tone signals of tone colors corresponding to tones of various musical instruments. Assignment section adjusts, on a tone-color-by-tone-color basis, tone volume allocations, of the generated tone signals, to the speakers and vibrator. Further, the thus-adjusted tone signals are mixed for each of speaker reproduction systems and vibrator drive system, and then the resultant mixed tone signals of the speaker reproduction systems and vibrator drive system are supplied to corresponding ones of the speakers and vibrator.

Electronic keyboard instrument and tone reproduction method therefor

A reverberation generating system stores parameter data representative of a series of timings and a series of sound intensities for an initial part of reverberation, and calculates a series of parameter data for the later part of reverberation by using a return map of the proportional constant for time intervals of the initial part inversely proportional to the square of lapse of time so that the reverberation generating system stores the parameter data for the initial part only.
