Disclosed are a phosphor sheet capable for converting light from LEDs into white light, a white light source device including the phosphor sheet, and a display device including the white light source device. The disclosed phosphor sheet includes a phosphor layer containing at least a phosphor and a resin; and a pair of transparent substrates sandwiching the phosphor layer. The phosphor sheet comprises a coloring material having an absorption maximum wavelength of at least one of from 480 nm to 510 nm or from 570 nm to 620 nm. The coloring material is contained in the phosphor layer. The transparent substrates are adhered to both surfaces of the phosphor layer. the phosphor layer has a thickness of 20 &#x3bc;m to 200 &#x3bc;m. An indicator of the usage amount of the coloring material defined by the following formula is 0.003 to 0.028: (indicator of the usage amount of the coloring material)=((blending amount of the coloring material in the phosphor layer)/(blending amount of a resin in the phosphor layer))&#xd7;(the thickness of the phosphor layer (&#x3bc;m)).

Provided is a partial drive-type light source device including an excitation light source that is formed from a plurality of light-emitting elements and is partially drivable, a phosphor sheet disposed at a position separated from the excitation light source and containing a phosphor that converts at least part of a wavelength region of incident light from the excitation light source and releases emitted light in a wavelength region differing from the incident light, and a wavelength-selective reflection film that is disposed between the excitation light source and the phosphor sheet and that transmits at least part of light in the wavelength region of the incident light from the excitation light source and reflects at least part of light in the wavelength region of the emitted light from the phosphor sheet.

The present invention is provided with: light-emitting structures wherein a blue light-emitting element is embedded in a transparent resin having a convex surface shape; a substrate wherein the light-emitting structures are disposed two-dimensionally; a diffuser plate that diffuses the blue light of the blue light-emitting elements; and a fluorescent sheet that is disposed spaced from the substrate and that contains a particulate fluorescent body that obtains a white light from the blue light of the blue light-emitting elements.

Provided is a phosphor sheet that, despite its simplified structure, is capable of preventing deterioration in phosphors. In one of embodiments, the phosphor sheet includes moisture vapor barrier filmsandand a phosphor layerthat is sandwiched between the moisture vapor barrier filmsandand that includes a sulfide-based phosphor. Each of the moisture vapor barrier filmsandhas an edge portion that is sealed by a cover member. The above structure prevents moisture vapor from entering the phosphor layerfrom the edge portions of the moisture vapor barrier filmsand, and accordingly, prevents deterioration in the phosphor(s) included in the phosphor layer

Phosphor sheet

In order to suppress the chromaticity shift and corrosion associated with the deterioration of a sulfide phosphor particle, this phosphor sheet is produced using a phosphor particle-containing resin composition which comprises: covered phosphor particles; polymerizable compound; and a polymerization initiator. The covered phosphor particles are obtained by covering phosphor particles with silicon dioxide films, wherein among the phosphor particles, at least sulfide phosphor particles are covered with silicon dioxide films that contain a metal oxide powder. Thus, the phosphor sheet can be inhibited from emitting a sulfur-based gas, and exhibits a minimized chromaticity shift, even when the phosphor sheet is present in such a manner that the edge of the phosphor layer of the sheet is in an exposed state.

A transmission cable includes multiple signal lines formed on one side of an insulation layer and a ground line between the signal lines. The ground line is electrically connected to a shield layer formed on a back surface side of the insulation layer and to a noise suppressing layer having a high electric resistance value than the shield layer via a metal bump embedded and formed in the insulation layer. The noise suppressing layer has a function to suppress an unwanted emission and/or a noise and has a function as an etching barrier layer serving as an etching stopper in a step for forming the metal bump. Thus, the transmission cable can suppress an increase of an electric resistance and a connection resistance between the ground line and the shield layer.

Transmission cable

A transmission cable and method for manufacturing same are provided. A plurality of signal lines are formed on one side of an insulating layer and ground lines are formed between the signal lines. The ground lines are electrically connected with a shield layer formed on a back surface of the insulating layer through metal bumps formed and embedded in the insulating layer. Insulating layers and shield layers may be formed on opposite sides sandwiching the signal lines and the ground lines. In this case, the ground lines are electrically connected with the shield layers, respectively, through metal bumps on both sides thereof. Consequently, a highly reliable transmission cable capable of high rate transfer and large capacity transfer can be provided.
