A manipulator device has an arm portion and a hand portion The hand portion includes one or more finger portions that manipulate a target object. Each finger portion includes a slip sensor and multiple contact sensors, with at least one contact sensor at a position proximate to the slip sensor and at least another contact sensor at a position remote from the slip sensor. When the contact sensors at the positions remote from the slip sensor detect contact of the target object and the contact sensors arranged at the positions proximate to the slip sensors do not detect contact, a position of the finger portion is moved by a distance corresponding to the distance between the contact sensors detecting contact of the target object and the contact sensors arranged at the positions proximate to the slip such that a detecting position of the slip sensor is coincident with a position of the target object.

Manipulator device

A reference A/D conversion unit is connected in parallel to an input common to a time-interleaved A/D converter to be a calibration target, and the output of each unitary A/D conversion unit which makes up the time-interleaved A/D converter is calibrated in a digital region by using a low-speed high-resolution A/D conversion result output from the reference A/D conversion unit. Also, fCLK/N (fCLK represents an overall sampling rate of the time-interleaved A/D converter, and N is relatively prime to the number of unitary A/D conversion units connected in parallel M) is set as the operation clock frequency of the reference A/D conversion unit. Samplings of all unitary A/D conversion units can be sequentially synchronized with the sampling of the reference A/D conversion unit, and the operation clock frequency of the reference A/D converter can be made N times slower than the overall sampling rate of the time-interleaved A/D converter.

Analog/digital converter and semiconductor integrated circuit device

The present invention provides an ink-jet recording material containing: a support; and at least two ink-receiving layers of an ink-receiving underlayer and an ink-receiving top layer, the ink-receiving layers containing a pigment and a binder and being disposed on the support; characterized in that the ink-receiving top layer contains: a finely agglomerated pigment with an average particle diameter of 0.008 to 0.7 &#x3bc;m, selected from the group consisting of a silica, an alumina, and an alumina hydrate; and a coarse-grained pigment with an average particle diameter of 1 to 30 &#x3bc;m, the coarse-grained pigment being contained in an amount of 1 to 15 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the finely agglomerated pigment.

Ink-jet recording material

In the digital calibration technique of the conventional time-interleaved analog/digital converter, it is impossible to perform highly-accurate calibration that supports a high-speed sampling rate of the next-generation application and achieves a high resolution. For its solution, a reference A/D conversion unit is connected in parallel to an input common to a time-interleaved A/D converter to be a calibration target, and the output of each unitary A/D conversion unit which makes up the time-interleaved A/D converter is calibrated in a digital region by using a low-speed high-resolution A/D conversion result output from the reference A/D conversion unit. Also, fCLK/N (fCLK represents an overall sampling rate of the time-interleaved A/D converter, and N is relatively prime to the number of unitary A/D conversion units connected in parallel M) is set as the operation clock frequency of the reference A/D conversion unit. In a wireless transmitter and receiver, a background calibration type analog-to-digital converter generally occupies a large area because of the phase compensating capacity of an op-amp included in a reference analog-to-digital conversion unit. Further, the calibration type analog-to-digital converter generally requires a sample and hold circuit to exclude influence of parasitic capacitance of wirings, thereby increasing power consumption. Digital calibration is performed by using, as a signal for calibration, an input signal of a digital-to-analog converter in a transmitter circuit of the wireless transmitter and receiver and inputting an output signal from the digital-to-analog converter to the analog-to-digital converter in the receiver circuit.

Ink jet printing paper capable of providing, by using a low permeablity or a nonpermeable supporting sheet, a high surface glossiness and a high dot reproducibility of a silver halide photograph level, an excellent absorptivity of ink, and a high recording density, and preventing cockling by ink solvent, comprising the low permeablity or the nonpermeable supporting sheet, at least one ink receiving layer coated on the supporting sheet, and a luster layer coated on the ink receiving layer, the ink receiving layer in contact with the luster layer comprising pigment, as a main component, having a specific surface area-based mode diameter of pore distribution of 100 nm or less and an average secondary particle size of 1.3 &#x3bc;m or less, and the luster layer comprising pigment, as a main component, having an average primary particle size of 5 to 100 nm.

Ink jet recording paper

An ink jet recording material which enables the recorded ink images to exhibit enhanced light fastness, water resistance and hot moisture resistance, includes an ink receiving layer formed on a support material and containing a light fastness-enhancing agent containing hydroquinone-&bgr;-D-glucoside, a salt of pyrocatechol-3,5-disulfonic acid and/or salt of p-hydroxybenzenesulfonic acid, and an inorganic pigment and a cationic polymeric material which are in the form of a plurality of composite particles prepared by mixing an aqueous dispersion of inorganic pigment particles with a cationic polymeric material having a molecular weight of 100,000 or more, to cause the aqueous dispersion of the inorganic pigment particles to be coagulated with the cationic polymeric material, and subjecting the resultant coagulate of the inorganic pigment with the cationic polymeric material to pulverization to form inorganic pigment-cationic polymeric material composite particles having an average composite particle size of 10 to 1,000 nm.

Ink jet recording material

An ink jet recording material having excellent smoothness and gloss and capable of recording thereon ink images having high color density clarity, water resistance and sharpness comparative to the silver salt photographic images has a recording stratum formed on a substrate and comprising a single ink receiving layer or a plurality of ink receiving layers superposed on each other and containing a pigment and a binder, at least one ink receiving layer containing fine particles of at least one pigment selected from silica, aluminosilicate, and &agr;-, &thgr;-, &dgr;- and &ggr;-aluminas and having an average particle size of 1 &mgr;m or less and optionally a light resistance-enhancing agent for images including at least one of phenolic compounds, boric acid, borate salts and cyclodextrin compounds.

An ink jet recording material having high gloss, a good ink-absorbing property, and high color density of the ink image includes at least one underrecording layer and at least one upper recording layer formed on a support and each containing fine pigment particles having an average primary particle size of 3 to 40 nm and an average secondary particle size of 10 to 400 nm, the pigment particles in the underrecording layer having a larger primary particle size than those in the upperrecording layer.

Ink jet recording material and process for producing same

An ink jet recording material having an excellent ink absorbing property and capable of recording ink images with superior gloss, water resistance and light resistance has an outermost ink receiving layer formed on a support and containing (1) fine pigment particles selected from amorphous silica secondary particles and alumina silicate secondary particles which have an average secondary particle size of 10 to 300 nm and in each of which a plurality of primary particles having an average primary particle size of 3 to 40 nm are agglomerated with each other, (2) an ultraviolet ray absorber and, optionally, (3) an antioxidant.

An ink jet recording material having one or more ink receiving layers formed on a substrate and capable of recording clear ink images with a satisfactory gloss, a high color density and an enhanced water resistance is provided with at least one ink receiving layer containing agglomerate pigment particles pulverized in a cationic resin-containing liquid and having an average particle size of 1 &mgr;m or less.

Ink jet recording material and method of producing same

An ink jet recording material having one or more ink receiving layers formed on a substrate and capable of recording clear ink images with a satisfactory gloss, a high color density and an enhanced water resistance is provided with at least one ink receiving layer containing agglomerate pigment particles pulverized in a cationic resin-containing liquid and having an average particle size of 1 .mu.m or less.
