Provided is an electrostatic latent image developing toner that, while ensuring low temperature fixability, can ensure image quality stability even during high-speed continuous printing. The toner is an electrostatic latent image developing core-shell type toner containing at least a binder resin. The binder resin includes a crystalline polyester resin, an amorphous polyester resin, and a hybrid amorphous vinyl resin in which a vinyl polymerization segment is chemically bonded to a polymerization segment other than the vinyl polymerization segment, in which a core portion of the toner contains the crystalline polyester resin and the amorphous polyester resin, whereas a shell portion of the toner contains the hybrid amorphous vinyl resin, and the hybrid amorphous vinyl resin has a vinyl polymerization segment content of from 51 to 99% by mass.

A toner for developing electrostatic images contains a first resin and a second resin. The first resin is a crystalline polyester resin composed of a dicarboxylic acid unit and a dialcohol unit. The first resin has a weight average molecular weight of 5000 to 100000. The second resin has a weight average molecular weight of 5000 to 60000. The second resin is a polyester resin composed of a crystalline segment and an amorphous segment. The crystalline segment has a weight average molecular weight of 200 to 3000 and is composed of a dicarboxylic acid unit and a dialcohol unit. In the toner, a specific carbon number relationship is present between each unit.

Provided is a toner for electrostatic charge image development which satisfies both low temperature fixability and an excellent storage stability and realizes excellent chargeability, fixing separation property, and flowability. According to the present invention, there is provided a toner for electrostatic charge image development comprising toner particles which comprises a binder resin including a crystalline polyester resin and a release agent, in which the crystalline polyester resin has a lamellar structure and the lamellar structure is present only on the inside of the toner particle when a cross-section of the toner particle subjected to ruthenium staining is observed with a transmission electron microscope.

The production process is a process for producing a toner for electrostatic image development. The process has an aggregating step of adding an aggregating agent composed of a compound having a divalent or trivalent metal element into a dispersion with fine particles of a binder resin dispersed in an aqueous medium, and an aggregation terminating step of adding an aggregation terminating agent into the dispersion. The aggregation terminating agent is composed of a compound having at least one of a structure (1) represented by a formula (1) and a structure (2) represented by a formula (2). Production process of toner for electrostatic image development

The toner for electrostatic image development has excellent charge properties, by which excellent toner particle size-controlling ability is achieved, and moreover the sharpening of a particle size distribution is achieved. The toner is composed of toner particles containing a binder resin. The process has an aggregating step of adding an aggregating agent containing a transition element into an aqueous medium of dispersed fine binder resin particles to aggregate the fine binder resin particles, and an aggregation-stopping step of adding an aggregation stopper composed on a sulfur atom-containing compound exhibiting a reducing action on the aggregating agent. The aggregating agent is a salt of a bivalent or higher metal selected from Sr, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni and Cu.

The present invention relates to a two-component developer which comprises a toner, and a carrier having a surface of a core material particle coated with a resin having a unit of general formula (1). The present invention provides a two-component developer which has enhanced environmental stability of carrier charging performance.
